HAMILTON, ONT. – The Hamilton Cardinals, in partnership with the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), are proud to announce that Hamilton will host the 2025 IBL All-Star Showdown on Sunday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Bernie Arbour Stadium.
This annual summer event will once again feature the North vs. South format, showcasing the league’s best talent in a highly anticipated midseason showdown. Just like last year, fans will vote to decide the North and South teams.
Home Run Derby Returns to All-Star Weekend
Leading up to the All-Star Showdown, the 2025 IBL Home Run Derby will occur on Sunday, July 20 at 5:00 p.m. at Bernie Arbour Stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the league’s top power hitters battle for the title, following in the footsteps of Hamilton Cardinals outfielder Tyler Duncan (Sooke, B.C.), who won the 2024 Home Run Derby in Welland.
Cardinals Charity Classic Supporting Autism Acceptance
As part of the All-Star weekend, the Cardinals Charity Classic will occur on Saturday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. This celebrity softball matchup will be held in partnership with the Canadian National Autism Foundation (CNAF) in support of autism acceptance and inclusion. All ticket proceeds from the game will be donated to the Canadian National Autism Foundation. Please visit CNAF.net to learn more!
A Celebration of Baseball in Hamilton
The 2025 IBL All-Star Game will bring together the league’s top players for an exciting night of baseball at Bernie Arbour Stadium, home of the Hamilton Cardinals. Fans can look forward to a weekend filled with competition, community engagement, and the continued growth of baseball in Hamilton.
Fan voting details will be announced in the first half of the IBL season.
The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) features former MLB professionals, elite NCAA players, and top Canadian talent. Now entering its 107th season, the IBL remains one of the longest-running baseball leagues in the world.
