The ‘Cats have their much anticipated home opener Friday, June 7 against the Wenatchee AppleSox, with the buzz around the arrival of Manny and Lucas Ramirez, sons of MLB superstar Manny Ramirez. They will be in Victoria ahead of the home opener.

On Friday, the HarbourCats scored their lone run — lead off man and shortstop Ty Hall driven home by Jack Haggard — in the top of the third inning, but an error in the bottom half led to Manny Recchi’s two-run home run.

That was it for the scoring.
