Parking will be at a premium around the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown during induction weekend.

Hall of Fame Induction Weekend Visitors Urged to Utilize Special Parking Options
-- Peripheral Lots, Shuttle and Trolley Services Provide Multiple Choices for Travelers --
(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – Visitors to Cooperstown for the 2019 Induction Weekend, including the Saturday, July 20 Awards Presentation and the Sunday, July 21 Induction Ceremony, are advised to utilize several parking and transportation options in an effort to alleviate potential delays and traffic problems.
The 2019 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 on the grounds of the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown. Travelers are advised to allow plenty of time to find parking and transportation to the following points close to the Induction. Because of its small size – with a year-round population of fewer than 2,000 residents and just one traffic light – Cooperstown will fill up quickly during Hall of Fame Weekend. Parking arrangements detailed below will be in place for Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21.
Three trolley lots, located just outside the village limits and color-coded in red, blue and yellow, are available for those visitors in the immediate Cooperstown village area. Parking in these lots is free, and a trolley ticket good for unlimited daily transportation costs $5. The trolley service will operate from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily all weekend. Parking spots in these lots are limited. Trolleys will run only from the lots to regular stops in the village. Trolleys will not run to and from the Induction site. Hall of Fame shuttle service will provide free shuttle buses from the corner of Main and Fair streets to the Induction site on Sunday, with continuous service from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then resuming at the conclusion of the Induction Ceremony. Shuttles will not run during the Induction Ceremony.
Three special paid parking lots will be available only on Sunday, July 21. These lots are located adjacent to the Blue Trolley Lot (paid lot is Cy Young Lot), on Route 33 just east of the Induction Site (paid lot is the Hank Aaron Lot) and on Route 33 south of the Induction Site (paid lot is the Babe Ruth Lot, which also includes shuttle service to the Induction site).

The July 19-22 Induction Weekend will feature four days filled with family-friendly events in Cooperstown as Harold Baines, Roy Halladay, Edgar Martinez, Mike Mussina, Mariano Rivera and Lee Smith are inducted as the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2019. The Induction Ceremony takes place at 1:30 p.m. on July 21 on the grounds of the Clark Sports Center, one mile south of the Hall of Fame on Susquehanna Avenue. Admission to the Induction Ceremony is free.
The Ceremony will be televised live exclusively on MLB Network.
The Museum maintains the following Hall of Fame Weekend hours: Friday, July 19: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Saturday, July 20: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday, July 21: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.; and Monday, July 22: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. For Hall of Fame Members, doors open at 7 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and at 8 a.m. on Monday. As always, Hall of Fame Members receive free admission. Interested parties may enroll in the Membership Program in advance at baseballhall.org/join or at the Museum.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Museum observes summer hours of 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. from Memorial Day Weekend until the day before Labor Day. Ticket prices are $25 for adults (13 and over), $20 for seniors (65 and over) and $15 for juniors (ages 7-12) and $18 for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations. Members are always admitted free of charge, and there is no charge for active military, career 20-year retired military personnel and children 6 years of age or younger.
