Official Intercounty Baseball League News Release

The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) is sad to announce the passing of IBL top 100 member and London Majors All-Star Wayne Fenlon.

Fenlon was a catcher for the Majors from 1966 to 1986 where he hit over .300 in 12 of his 21 seasons. Not only did he win two championships, but he also played on multiple pennant-winning teams. He is also one of 13 players to have his number retired.

In 2018, the IBL awarded a Gold Bat to Fenlon for being one of the top 100 players in the league’s 100-year history. His No. 9 and legacy will live on in Majors' history forever.

He leaves behind his wife Glenda, sons Neal and Nathan, and daughter Joanna.
