Official Barrie Baycats News Release

The Barrie Baycats have re-signed Noel McGarry-Doyle.

In 2021, McGarry-Doyle had a slash line of .348/.421/.500 with two home runs and 11 RBIs in 16 games with the Baycats. A left-handed hitter, he's likely to fit at the top of the Baycats’ lineup, just as he did for much of last season. He rejoins an outfield that's also projected to include Avery Tuck.

The Baycats have also re-signed Mike Duwyn .

In 2021, Duwyn hit .280 in eight games, with seven hits and a home run. He finished off the season with a hot streak - in two of his last three games, he had three hits, including a home run and a triple.
