BRANTFORD - The Brantford Red Sox have announced that Nick Burdett will be returning for his ninth season with the team.

Over his Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) career, Burdett has consistently led the team in hits. Last season, he topped the Red Sox in home runs, runs scored, and RBIs.

Over the course of his career, Burdett has won an IBL championship with the Red Sox in 2013, was an IBL all-star in 2015, and was named team MVP in 2018.

He is on pace to play in his 300th IBL game and log his 1,000th plate appearance during the upcoming season.

The Brantford Red Sox were founded in 1911 and have won 15 Intercounty Baseball League titles.
