Official Brantford Red Sox News Release

BRANTFORD, Ont. - The Intercounty Baseball League’s Brantford Red Sox have re-signed infielder Aiden Colangelo.

Colangelo is a 23-year-old native of Brantford. He joined the Red Sox midway through the 2022 season, having previously played with the Hamilton Cardinals.

He proved himself to be a versatile member of the team last season, both as a position player (logging 33 at bats) as well as being available out of the bullpen when called upon (11 innings pitched).

Colangelo also attended George Brown College where he majored in Business Administration and posted a .439/.455/.561 slash line for the Huskies in the 2021-22 season.

The Brantford Red Sox were founded in 1911 and have won 15 Intercounty Baseball League titles.
