BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox have re-signed left-hander Adam Jafine.

Jafine returns to Brantford after an outstanding 2021 rookie season in which he posted a 2.82 ERA, while striking out 66, in 54 1/3 innings in nine regular and postseason appearances.

He excelled for the Sox in the postseason, throwing a complete game four-hitter vs. the Kitchener Panthers. In total, in the postseason, he struck out 27 batters in 18 innings and registered a 1.00 ERA.

He was also named an IBL Second Team All-Star in 2021.

He previously played for Team Ontario (2011 National Champions) and the Canadian Junior National Team. He played college ball at Northern Kentucky University (NCAA Division I), and the University of Charleston (NCAA Division II).
