BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox have re-signed Luca Lombardi for the 2022 season.

A dependable left-hander out of the bullpen, Lombardi made seven appearances in relief for Brantford in his rookie season in 2021.

Lombardi is a Commerce major at the University of Toronto.

He won the 2021 OUA Championship with the undefeated Varsity Blues and was named Varsity Blues athlete of the week in September 2019 when he pitched a seven-inning, complete game no-hitter.
