Official Hamilton Cardinals News Release

The Hamilton Cardinals have signed right-hander Noah Falkenberg (Richmond Hill, Ont).

The 22-year-old pitcher will be making his IBL debut this season after spending the 2021 fall season pitching for the Ryerson Rams (OUA).

The 6-foot righty spent 2018 and 2019 with the Walsh University Cavaliers (NCAA). Prior to attending school, Falkenberg pitched for Team Ontario and last summer with Leaside Leafs U21.

“Noah is a classic late bloomer. He is an extremely hard worker and very competitive,” said Cardinals GM Jeff Lounsbury. “He has looked great during the winter and he is growing with confidence. We really think he will be a great addition to our staff and will make valuable contributions.”

Falkenberg is looking forward to joining the Cardinals.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to play for the Hamilton Cardinals this summer,” he said. “I am excited to play with, and learn from, a great group of ball players and coaches and to contribute to the team’s success.”
