The Hamilton Cardinals have signed outfielder Bryn Sanford.

The Newmarket, Ont., native will enter his first in the Intercounty Baseball League in 2022. He moves up from the Newmarket Jr. team and is a talented middle-of-the-order hitter and strong defender for the Brock University Badgers. In 2021, Sanford hit .381 with a home run.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to continue my baseball career with the Hamilton Cardinals in the league as prestigious as the Intercounty Baseball League,” said Sanford.

The Hamilton Cardinals are a member of the Intercounty Baseball League. The over 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, established in 1919.
