KITCHENER- Kitchener Panthers are pleased to announce the re-signing of pitcher Christian Hauck for the 2021 season.

Hauck joined the Panthers in 2018 and has compiled a record of 8-5 in his two years with the Panthers, averaging a strike out per inning in 2019.

He is presently working on his Masters Degree at Wilfred Laurier University , where he has enjoyed great success; including OUA Championships in 2018 and 2019, First Team All Star in 2016 and 2019, Second Team All Star in 2018 and OUA Men’s Top Pitcher honours in 2016 and 2019. He is a two time Golden Hawks Baseball MVP, and was also selected to Laurier’s All Decade Team.

“We are very happy to have Christian Hauck back with us for the 2021 season,” said Kitchener Panthers GM Mike Boehmer. “Christian brings talent and great determination to the Panthers; and we expect him to be a key member of our starting rotation in this his fifth IBL season.”

The Kitchener Panthers are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 102-year-old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
