KITCHENER, Ont. - The Kitchener Panthers have signed infielder Elliott Curtis (Waterloo, Ont.).

Curtis joins the Panthers after having spent the past two seasons playing professionally in the Frontier League for Quebec and Trois-Rivieres. In those two seasons, he recorded 62 hits, 36 RBIs and five home runs in 78 games.

Prior to his professional career, Curtis was a standout at Columbia State CC (NJCAA D1) where he hit .379 with 11 home runs and had an OPS of 1.118 in 50 games. He spent the final two seasons of his collegiate career as a member of the (NCAA D1) University of Kentucky Wildcats, members of the SEC. He appeared in 48 games and recorded a .295 batting average with three home runs, 21 RBIs and 25 runs.

The Terriers alum has also made stops in the well respected Alaskan Summer League and New England Collegiate League between college seasons and is spending the winter playing for the Melville Braves in Perth, Australia.

He made a brief appearance with the Panthers in 2021, appearing in four regular season games, batting .385 with a home run and three RBIs.
