TORONTO – Toronto scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to storm back for a 7-6 win over Barrie and sweep the best-of-five quarter-final Sunday afternoon at Christie Pits.

Marcus Knecht went 3-for-5 and drove in the final two runs to seal the victory. Jordan Castaldo drove in two on a pair of hits, while Johnathan Solazzo went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Justin Marra drove in a run and scored, Jose Vinicio scored twice and Damon Topolie and Greg Carrington each had two hits and a run.

Chris Nagorski picked up the win, giving up a run and a hit with a strikeout in two innings of relief. Sam Greene started and went four innings, allowing three runs on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts.

Ryan Rijo homered and drove in three for the fifth-place Baycats, who battled back from an early 3-0 deficit and led 6-4 after scoring twice in the eighth.

Royce Ando had two hits, including a solo home run, James Anderson picked up a pair of hits and Carson Burns also went deep with the bases empty.

Brandon Hillier took the loss, allowing three runs on five hits in 2/3 of an inning. He struck out two.
