IBL's London Majors sign Jose Vinicio

LONDON - The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of Dominican Republic born middle infielder, Jose Vinicio.

The former MLB prospect joins the Majors after playing for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks organizations, making it to triple-A with all three organizations. Over his time in the minor leagues, the Santo Domingo native had 115 career stolen bases. 86 RBIs and 16 home runs.

"I’m very excited to add Jose to our team. He brings tremendous experience to our team and will help with leadership both on the field and in the clubhouse,” said Majors GM and Field Manager Roop Chanderdat. “Jose will bring stability to our middle infield and also provide offence to our line-up”.

“I am looking forward to joining the London Majors and playing for Manager, Roop Chanderdat,” said Vinicio. “I have heard lots of great things about the Majors, their fans, Labatt Park and the City of London. I am very excited to help this team win baseball games.”
