Official London Majors News Release

The London Majors have signed Calgary, Alta., native Bo Lewington.

The 28-year-old right-hander joins the Majors after spending 2019 with the South Perth Cubs in WA State League in Australia.

The 6-foot-3 righty has also spent time in the Pecos League with the High Desert Yardbirds, and in the WMBL with the Okotoks Dawgs.

“I'm really looking forward to joining the Majors for the upcoming season,” said Lewington. “I'm excited to get another opportunity to compete in the game that I love, and to help the boys put up some W's and bring home another ring for the London faithful."

London Majors co-owner and manager Roop Chanderdat is excited to bring Lewington on board.

“Bo is a big strong right-handed pitcher that will be a good addition to our pitching staff,” said Chanderdat. “He has experience playing pro baseball and also playing overseas and this will help him adjust quickly to the IBL.”

The London Majors are a member of the Intercounty Baseball League. In 2021, they won the IBL Jack & Lynn Dominico Trophy.
