Official London Majors News Release

The London Majors have signed left-hander Cam O’Reilly.

Originally from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, he joins the Majors after a season with the Moose Jaw Miller Express of the Western Canadian Baseball League where he struck out 24 batters in 23 1/3 innings.

Prior to his return to Moose Jaw, O’Reilly spent time with the St. Clair Saints of the OCAA in 2021 where he was named OCAA Pitcher of the Year and an All-Star. He finished that season with a 4-0 record and a 0.88 ERA.

As someone who has won a championship in Ontario with the St. Clair Saints, the 19-year-old O’Reilly was asked what he is most excited about in joining the Majors: “I'm most excited about continuing my career in baseball after college and being a part of a winning culture!”

For his part, Majors field manager and co-owner Roop Chanderdat is happy to have O’Reilly on board.

“Cam is a young left-handed pitcher that will work out of the bullpen,” said Chanderdat. “He has had good success in college and summer ball and he is looking to continue his development and growth as a player with the Majors. It's nice having a few left-handed pitchers on the staff, especially out of the bullpen.”
