The London Majors have signed local right-handed pitcher Jordan Spring.

Spring is currently attending Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, La., where he has made four appearances this season and averaged a strikeout per inning. Prior to joining the Cavaliers, Spring was with the Great Lake Canadians and attended the Blue Jays Academy in 2019.

"I am looking forward to suiting up for my hometown Majors,” said Spring. “This is a huge thrill and I can't wait to play in front of the London fans at Labatt Park."

Majors manager Roop Chanderdat is looking forward to seeing Spring on the mound.

“Jordan is a young player who will get a chance to be part of the Majors team and learn the ropes from our veteran pitchers,” said Chanderdat. “I am looking forward to coaching Jordan and continue to build on his development as a player”
