Official London Majors News Release

LONDON - The London Majors have signed utility player Gibson Krzeminski.

Krzeminski, 23, is a graduate student at Canisius (NCAA D1), where he is completing his fifth and final season of college baseball. He will join the Majors following the completion of his season with the Griffs.

The Tecumseh, Ont., native brings a wealth of versatility to the Majors as he can play all infield and outfield positions.

The switch-hitter spent two seasons at Iowa Western with the Reivers after transferring from West Virginia, where he redshirted his freshman year. The 5-foot-11, 201-pound Canadian hit .368 during his Reivers career, collecting 63 RBIs and scoring 70 runs while getting on base at a .482 clip. For his efforts, he earned Academic All-Region honours in 2018 and 2019.

He also hit five home runs and batted .402 in 2019 en route to helping Iowa Western reach the JUCO D1 World Series championship game.

“Krzeminski is another versatile player that can play multiple positions,” said Roop Chanderdat, Majors GM and field manager. “Gibby has been a solid hitter throughout his collegiate career and this trend should continue in the IBL with the Majors.”
