Completing nine games on Wednesday, the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league teams were 6-3.

Buffalo Bisons 2, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 1

It didn't take long for the triple-A Buffalo Bisons to win their suspended game with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders after the game was suspended with a 1-1 tie in the ninth inning with the potential winning run on second base. Darnell Sweeney was at the plate when the game was suspended and he grounded out when the game resumed on Wednesday before Jonathan Davis singled home the winning run give the Bisons a 2-1 win. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Montreal, Que.) was 3/4 with a double and an RBI while Gunnar Heidt was 2/4 with the winning run.

Brandon Cumpton threw a gem, giving up just one run on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in eight innings. Taylor Guerrieri vultured the win, striking out two in the ninth.

Buffalo Bisons 7, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 3

The Buffalo Bisons went on to sweep the day, beating the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 7-3 in their regularly scheduled game for Wednesday. Guerrero Jr. was 0/4 but Darnell Sweeney was 2/3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and two runs while Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was 2/4 with two runs. Jonathan Davis was 2/4 with a triple and two RBI and Anthony Alford was 1/3 with a double and a walk, scoring once and stealing a base. Tim Lopes drove in three runs, going 1/3 with a walk and Gunnar Heidt was also 1/3 with a walk and an RBI.

Matt Tracy worked four innings, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks with one strikeout. Zach Stewart earned the win with two scoreless innings, walking two and striking out two while Conor Fisk gave up two hits in the seventh and Craig Breslow (1 IP, 1 K), and Jose Fernandez (1 IP, 2 K) each provided a scoreless inning to seal the win.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Portland Sea Dogs 2

The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats opened their doubleheader with the Portland Sea Dogs with a 4-2 win thanks to the big bat of Max Pentecost. Pentecost was 2/3 with a home run, one RBI and a run while Harold Ramirez was 2/3 with a double and two RBI. Bo Bichette was 0/2 but walked, scored and stole a base and Cavan Biggio was 1/3 with an RBI and a run.

Tayler Saucedo gave up two runs on five hits with two strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings and Travis Bergen finished it, tossing 1 1/3 innings, giving up a hit but striking out three.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 6, Portland Sea Dogs 4

Scoring early gave the New Hampshire Fisher Cats the edge in their 6-4 win in the second game of their doubleheader against the Portland Sea Dogs. Harold Ramirez had another two hits, going 2/3 with an RBI and a run, pushing his batting average to .310. Santiago Espinal drove home two runs, going 2/3 with a double and a run while Andrew Guillotte had a single and a double, driving in a run. Jon Berti was on twice with a single and a walk, stealing a base, and Patrick Cantwell was 1/2 with a walk, an RBI and a run.

Josh DeGraaf went four innings, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks, striking out five while Francisco Rios finally got his first win of the season, tossing two scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk with three strikeouts. Kirby Snead allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits in 2/3 of an inning and Dusty Isaacs cleaned things up, stranding a runner and getting the final out of the game.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Clearwater Threshers 5

The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays lost in a walk off to their crosstown rivals, the Clearwater Threshers in a 5-4 game. Riley Adams (3/4, 2B, 2 R) and Joshua Palacios (3/5, 2B, RBI) had three hits each and Brock Lundquist was 2/4 with an RBI. Rodrigo Orozco moved his batting average to .303 with a single, going 1/3 with a walk and an RBI and Nash Knight was 1/3 with a walk and a run.

Maverik Buffo went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Jonathan Chesire gave up two unearned runs on a hit and a walk with one strikeout in the sixth and Ty Tice allowed two hits but no runs with one strikeout in two innings. Bryan Baker took the loss, giving up a solo home run to the first batter he faced in the ninth inning.

Lansing Lugnuts 5, Bowling Green Hot Rods 8

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts continue to have trouble with the powerhouse Bowling Green Hot Rods despite getting a home run from Ryan Noda in an 8-5 loss. Noda was 1/3 with his team-leading 17th home run while Samad Taylor was 1/3 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run. Jesus Navarro was 2/4 with an RBI and a run, adding a stolen base, and Bryan Lizardo was 1/4 with a double, an RBI and a run. Andres Sotillo was 1/3 with a walk and a run.

Kyle Weatherly started, getting charged with six runs (five earned) on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in three-plus innings. Brayden Bouchey (White Rock, B.C.) allowed his inherited runner to score in the fourth and gave up two more runs on three hits (including a home run) and three walks with three strikeouts in three innings. Brody Rodning held the Hot Rods to just two hits and a walk in the final two innings with a strikeout.

Vancouver Canadian 6, Tri-City Dust Devils 15

The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians took a beating, losing 15-6 to the Tri-City Dust Devils. Griffin Conine had his first noteworthy game in a while, accounting for three of the Canadians' six hits, going 3/5 with a double and three RBI. Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1/3 with two walks, a stolen base, an RBI and a run and Christopher Bec was 0/1 but walked three times, stole a base and scored once, driving in a run with a sacrifice fly. Yorman Rodriguez was 1/4 with a walk and Brandon Polizzi was 1/3 with a walk and two runs.

Nick Allgeyer gave up four runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings, striking out one. Juan Nunez allowed five runs on just two hits but five walks with three strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings. Joey Pulido emerged unscathed, pitching two scoreless innings, striking out two and Denis Diaz was charged with two runs, allowing two hits and two walks in 2/3 of an inning. Connor Law finished the game, giving up four more runs on three hits and two walks with a strikeout in 1 1/3 innings.

Bluefield Blue Jays 7, Danville Braves 5

A five-run sixth inning helped the rookie-class Bluefield Blue Jays to a 7-5 win over the Danville Braves. Cal Stevenson, a post-season All-Star, was 2/5 with two doubles, two RBI, a stolen base and a run while Patrick Morris was 2/4 with a double, three RBI and a run. Davis Schneider was 1/3 with a double, a walk and two runs and Jordan Groshans was 1/3 with a walk and a run.

Nathanael Perez allowed four runs in four innings, giving up seven hits and a walk with two strikeouts before Cre Finfrock tossed two scoreless innings, striking out three. Matt Harris allowed a solo home run among two hits with a strikeout in one inning and Nicolas Medina earned the save, striking out three in two innings.

GCL Blue Jays, GCL Yankees West

Game cancelled due to rain.

DSL Blue Jays 5, DSL Orioles 2

The DSL Blue Jays defeated the DSL Orioles by a 5-2 score on Wednesday. Jhon Solarte was 2/5 with a double and two RBI with a run while Alberto Rodriguez was 2/3 with two walks and a stolen base. Pedro Ventura was 2/5 with an RBI and a run and Hanley Acevedo was 1/3 with a walk and two runs, stealing a base.

Lazaro Estrada struck out eight, giving up two runs on four hits in five innings and Pedro Padilla struck out four in two innings. William Gonzalez pitched the final two innings, giving up a walk but striking out two.
