Blue Jays from Away
With five games on the docket, the Blue Jays' minor league clubs completed four, losing all four of them.
Buffalo Bisons 2, Rochester Red Wings (MIN) 7
The triple-A Buffalo Bisons had an early lead over the Rochester Red Wings but the Red Wings scored four runs in the seventh and one in the eighth to beat the Buffalo Bisons 7-2 on Saturday.
Anthony Alford was 1/1 with a double and a stolen base but he was pulled from the game after one at bat, making way for Socrates Brito who was 2/4 and was caught stealing. Billy McKinney was 1/4 with a double and Teoscar Hernandez was 1/3 with a walk and a home run. Richard Urena was 1/3 with a walk and Reese McGuire walked twice, going 0/2.
Conor Fisk got the start, allowing an unearned run on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in four innings. Joey Pulido, called up from Lansing, got 2 2/3 innings in, allowing four runs on three hits (including a home run) with one walk and two strikeouts. William Ouellette allowed two more runs in the late going, in addition to letting all three of his inherited runners score, giving up four hits in 1 1/3 innings.

Roster Notes: Patrick Cantwell was placed on the 7-day IL and Joey Pulido was called up to Buffalo from Lansing. Zac Rosscup was sent outright to Buffalo.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Altoona Curve (PIT) 4
Saturday's game had a one-run margin of victory but it was the Altoona Curve who came out on top of the double-A New Hamsphire Fisher Cats this time, beating the 'Cats 4-3.
Santiago Espinal had two of the club's seven hits, driving in two runs and stealing a base. Nash Knight was 1/4 and hit the club's only double while Forrest Wall (1/4, R), Riley Adams (1/3), Vinny Capra (1/4) and Kevin Smith (1/3, BB, R) had the club's other hits.
Hector Perez had another solid start, giving up just two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts over six innings. Vinny Nittoli allowed two runs on two hits (including a home run) in two innings of relief.

Dunedin Blue Jays 0, Clearwater Threshers (PHI) 3
The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays couldn't muster any offence on Saturday, getting just four outs and getting shut out 3-0 by the Clearwater Threshers.
Ronny Brito had two of the Lugnuts' four hits with Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) going 1/3 and Logan Warmoth going 1/4 with a double.
Turner Larkins allowed three runs on seven hits (including a home run) while striking out three over five innings. Graham Spraker allowed just a hit in two innings of relief and Matt Shannon gave up a hit and struck out one in the eighth.

Lansing Lugnuts, Bowling Green Hot Rods (TB)
Game suspended in the bottom of the first.
Roster Notes: Joey Pulido was promoted to Buffalo.
DSL Blue Jays 0, DSL White Sox 5
The DSL Blue Jays opened their season with a loss to the DSL White Sox, falling 5-0 on their Opening Day.
Shortstop Emmanuel Sanchez led the team with two hits, hitting a double but was also caught stealing while centre fielder Gabriel Martinez was 1/3 with a walk and Willfrann Astudillo (3B) was 1/4. Catcher Javier D'Orazio was 1/2 in before making way for Gustavo Ruiz, who was 0/2.
Wilgenis Alvarado tossed 1/3 of an inning, giving up four runs (three earned) on two hits (including a home run) and one walk before Juanfer Castro came on to toss 3 2/3 frames of one-run ball, giving up six hits with two strikeouts. Edgar Castro struck out four in three one-hit innings and Junior A. Guzman tossed a scoreless eighth, striking out one to finish the game.
