With just three games on the minor league schedule, the Blue Jays' walk-off win over the Seattle Mariners was the only win in the organization on Mother's Day.

Buffalo Bisons 2, Lehigh Valley IronPigs 7

Thanks to their rained-out game on Saturday, the Buffalo Bisons played a doubleheader against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Mother's Day Sunday, dropping the first one by a 7-2 score. Buffalo's bats remained silent until the seventh when they scored their two runs getting RBIs from Ian Parmley and Shane Opitz who had two of the Bisons' five hits, going 2/3.

Mat Latos tossed 4 2/3 innings, giving up all seven Lehigh Valley runs on eight hits (including two home runs) and two walks with four strikeouts. Matt Dermody finished up, throwing 1 1/3 innings with a strikeout.
