The Dunedin Blue Jays were the only Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliate to lose on Sunday.

Buffalo Bisons 2, Pawtucket Red Sox 1

On a rainy day in Buffalo, the Bisons managed to eke out a win before the game had to be stopped, beating the Pawtucket Red Sox 2-1. Jeff Beliveau took over from originally scheduled starter Cesar Valdez (who was promoted to Toronto) and fired three excellent innings, allowing just one walk with two strikeouts. Leonel Campos gave up a solo home run among two hits with one strikeout in two innings while Matt Dermody vultured his fourth win of the season, walking one and giving up a hit in two innings before Murphy Smith got his third save with two one-hit innings, striking out a pair.

The offense only combined for eight hits but catcher Raffy Lopez set his new career high, hitting his fifth home run with the Bisons and ninth on the year. Ian Parmley was 2/4 with a run, while Dwight Smith, Jr. was 2/4 with a stolen base but was also picked off and caught stealing. Christian Lopes hit a triple and walked and Jonathan Diaz was 1/3 with a double, a walk and an RBI, adding a stolen base.

Roster Notes: Connor Eller was assigned to the Lansing Lugnuts and Andrew Guillotte was sent down to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 8, Reading Fightin Phils 7

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats got out to a lead and barely hung on to an 8-7 win over the Reading Fightin Phils. Sean Reid-Foley got off on the wrong foot in his start, giving up a single and a home run to the first two batters he faced but retired 12 of the next 15 batters, giving up only three walks along the way. A leadoff walk in the fifth got him back in trouble and, after finishing the sixth, Reid-Foley left the game with a 5-4 lead, charged with four runs on five hits and four walks with six strikeouts. Justin Shafer allowed a run in the seventh on a solo home run while Tim Mayza came in to close things out in the eighth and ninth, making things a little sticky by giving up two runs in the ninth but earned the save, despite allowing two runs on two hits and three walks.

Derrick Loveless had his best game in a while, going 3/4 with an RBI and two runs while Michael De La Cruz was on base four times with a single, a double and two walks, driving in one and scoring twice. Ryan McBroom was 2/4 with a double, continuing to swing a hot bat. Jonathan Davis was 1/4 with two RBI and a run while Richard Urena was 1/5 with a triple, two RBI and a run.

Player of the Game: Michael De La Cruz and Derrick Loveless

Roster Notes: Andrew Guillotte was added to the Fisher Cats' roster.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, St. Lucie Mets 10

The Dunedin Blue Jays took a drubbing from the St. Lucie Mets, losing 10-4 on Sunday afternoon. Angel Perdomo struggled with his control, walking five batters and allowing four runs (three earned) in 3 2/3 innings. Jared Carkuff took the loss, giving up two runs in 2 1/3 innings on a two-run home run to Arnaldo Berrios. Jon Wandling, making his first appearance since 2015, allowed another four runs on three hits (including a home run) and a walk in 1 2/3 innings and Danny Young finished the game, getting the only batter he faced.

Matt Dean (2/4, 2B) and Cavan Biggio (2/4, RBI) had two hits each while Connor Panas was 1/3 with a double and two runs. Juan Kelly hit his third home run of the year.

Roster Notes: Connor Eller was promoted to the Buffalo Bisons and Jon Wandling was activated off the DL.

Lansing Lugnuts 5, South Bend Cubs 3

The Lansing Lugnuts hung on to beat the South Bend Cubs by a score of 5-3, rallying in the top of the eighth inning for four runs. The eighth inning started with Bo Bichette reaching on a fielding error and he was followed by a Vladimir Guerrero (Montreal, Que.) double, a Ryan Hissey single, a Christian Williams double and a J.B. Woodman single. Williams had a banner day, going 3/4 with two doubles and two RBI while Hissey was 2/4 with a walk, two runs and two RBI. Guerrero was 2/4 with a double and a run and Jake Thomas was 2/4 with a walk.

Andy Ravel tossed six strong innings, giving up only two runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts before turning things over to the bullpen. Kirby Snead tossed a scoreless seventh while Nick Hartman was tagged for an unearned run on one hit in the eighth. Zach Jackson finished it off, walking one and striking out two in the ninth inning for the save.
