Blue Jays from Away
In six games on Sunday, the Blue Jays' affiliates were 3-3.
Buffalo Bisons 4, Syracuse Mets (NYM) 10
The Syracuse Mets got the better of the triple-A Buffalo Bisons, beating them 10-4.
Bo Bichette led the offence, going 3/4 with a double and a walk, scoring a run while Billy McKinney was 1/4 with a home run, two RBI and an outfield assist. Jordan Patterson was 1/3 with a run and an outfield assist and Andy Burns was 1/4. Roemon Fields was 1/4 with a run. Michael De La Cruz was on base twice, going 1/3 with a walk and an RBI.
Connor Fisk started and was charged with seven runs on nine hits including four home runs with one walk and four strikeouts in three innings. Zach Jackson provided two innings of scoreless relief, allowing a hit and striking out one while Ty Tice allowed a run on three hits and two walks in two innings, striking out two. Buddy Boshers gave up a run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout in the eighth and Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) gave up a solo home run with one strikeout in the ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5, Trenton Thunder (NYY) 7
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats fell to a 35-44 record overall, losing 7-5 to the Trenton Thunder.
Three Fisher Cats had two hits each with Forrest Wall (2/5, RBI), Riley Adams (2/4, 2 R) and Vinny Capra (2/3, 2B, RBI, R) all getting a pair of hits. Santiago Espinal hit a triple, driving in three runs while Joshua Palacios was 1/4 with a double. Christian Williams and Chad Spanberger were both 1/4 with a run.
Justin Dillon took the loss, giving up six of the seven runs (five earned) on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts in just 2 2/3 innings. Danny Young allowed two hits (but both inherited runners to score) in 2 1/3 innings, striking out three while Vinny Nittoli threw three innings, giving up a solo home run among two hits with two strikeouts.

Dunedin Blue Jays 11, Daytona Tortugas (CIN) 9
The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays picked up another win on Sunday in a slugfest, beating the Daytona Tortugas 11-9.
Kevin Vicuna had a big game, going 4/6 with an RBI, two stolen bases and three runs while Cullen Large was 2/6 with two doubles and three RBI. Christopher Bec was on base four times, going 1/2 with three walks, two stolen bases and a run. Cal Stevenson was 1/4 with two walks, an RBI and two runs while Demo Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) was 1/4 with a walk, two RBI, a stolen base and a run. Kacy Clemens was 1/4 with a home run and two RBI, adding a walk and Ryan Noda was 1/5 with a double, an rBI and a run and Chavez Young was 1/5 with a run.
Maximo Castillo had a rough outing, giving up seven runs on eight hits (including two home runs) with three walks and five strikeouts over five innings. Connor Law allowed two hits and a walk in 1 1/3 innings, striking out one and Jackson Rees allowed two runs on two hits with one strikeout in one inning. Brad Wilson got the save, holding things down for 1 2/3 innings, striking out two and walking one.

Lansing Lugnuts 0, Bowling Green Hot Rods (TB) 3
Despite a solid pitching performance from Sean Wymer, the low-A Lansing Lugnuts lost 3-0, getting just five hits.
Wymer went 5 2/3 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on seven hits with seven strikeouts to take the loss. Justin Watts struck out one in 1 1/3 innings and Joey Pulido finished it with two innings, allowing a walk with two strikeouts.
Reggie Pruitt (1/4), Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) (1/4, CS), Griffin Conine (1/4), Ryan Gold (1/3, BB) and D.J. Neal (1/4) all had singles.

Vancouver Canadians 5, Spokane Indians (TEX) 4
The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians walked it off in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Spokane Indians 5-4.
The ninth started with Adrian Ramos getting hit by a pitch and Cameron Eden followed with a single and Tanner Morris walked to load the bases before Luis De Los Santos got the game winning RBI, hitting a sac fly to center to score Ramos for the walkoff. De Los Santos was 0/4 with the sac fly while Eden was 2/4 with the single, a walk, and a run. Yorman Rodriguez was the offensive star, however, going 3/4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs. Mc Gregory Contreras also had two hits, going 2/4 with a double. Ryan Sloniger was 1/4 with two RBI and Davis Schneider was 1/3 with a walk.
Juan Diaz was very effective over five innings, giving up just an unearned run on three hits with two strikeouts. Josh Almonte allowed a walk in two innings, striking out two and Gage Burland gave up three runs (two earned) on two hits with a walk in one inning. Grayson Huffman got the win, walking one in the ninth.

Bluefield Blue Jays 8, Burlington Royals (KCR) 2
The Bluefield Blue Jays (Rookie Ball) evened their record at 6-6 with an 8-2 win over the Burlington Royals.
Patrick Morris was 3/4 with a double, an RBI and three runs while Leonardo Jimenez was 2/4 with a double, two RBI and a run. Eric Rivera (1/4, BB, RBI), Miguel Hiraldo (1/3, 2 R, HBP) and Anthony Morales (1/4) had the club's other hits while Scotty Bradley was 0/3 but walked, drove in a run and scored.
Sam Ryan, the Jays' 12th-round pick went three innings in the start, allowing an unearned run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout. Jared DiCesare got the win, going four innings and allowing one run on five hits with four strikeouts before Meliton Reyes finished the game, walking one and striking out one in two innings.
