With a doubleheader for the triple-A Buffalo Bisons, the Blue Jays' affiliates played five games on Friday night, winning four of them.

Buffalo Bisons 9, Rochester Red Wings 8

The triple-A Buffalo Bisons opened up their doubleheader against the Rochester Red Wings with a 9-8 victory thanks to two home runs from Jason Leblebijian.

Leblebijian was 2-for-4 with the blasts and four RBI. Reese McGuire was 3-for-4 and Ian Parmley drove in three runs, going 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk, scoring once. Richard Urena was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs. Rowdy Tellez was 1-for-2 with two RBI, an RBI and a run. Anthony Alford, hitting in the seven hole was 1-for-3 with a walk and a single, scoring a run.

Taylor Guerrieri started, going four innings and giving up four runs on eight hits (including two home runs) and a walk, striking out three. Tim Mayza allowed a solo home run and struck out one in his inning of work and Dalton Rodriguez allowed three runs on two hits (including a home run) and two walks with three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings in his triple-A debut. Justin Shafer earned his third save by getting the final batter of the game.

Roster Notes: Dalton Pompey (Mississauga, Ont.) was promoted to Toronto and Dalton Rodriguez was sent to Buffalo.

Buffalo Bisons 2, Rochester Red Wings 1

Game 2 of the Buffalo Bisons' doubleheader with the Rochester Red Wings was a very different affair than Game 1 was. The Bisons got another outstanding pitching performance from Justin Dillon on the way to a 2-1 win. Dillon went all seven innings, giving up just one home run on a solo shot among three hits with one walk and one strikeout.

The Bisons had just two hits in the win, getting singles from Danny Jansen and Jason Leblebijian while Ian Parmley got an RBI, going 0-for-1 with a walk and Roemon Fields drove in the other run with a sacrifice fly.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 10, Hartford Yard Goats 3

Bo and Vlad struck again as they not only hit home runs in the same inning but went back to back in a 10-3 win over the Hartford Yard Goats.

Bo Bichette had eight total bases, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and four RBI, scoring three runs. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Montreal, Que.) was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs. Cavan Biggio was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs while Jonathan Davis was 2-for-4 with two runs. Gunnar Heidt was also 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base. Andrew Guillotte was 0-for-2 but had a productive night, hitting two sacrifice flies.

Jon Harris had a very strong game, going 7 1/3 innings and giving up two unearned runs on seven hits without walking anyone and striking out two. Jose Fernandez finished the game, giving up a solo home run in 1 2/3 innings, striking out two.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Lakeland Flying Tigers 6

The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays had a tie game in the bottom of the seventh inning before the Lakeland Flying Tigers scored one in the eighth and one in the ninth with the Blue Jays only scoring one in the bottom of the ninth to take a 6-5 loss.

Tayler Saucedo didn't get a decision, throwing five innings and giving up four runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Jonathan Cheshire provided two scoreless innings of relief, striking out two but Jackson McClelland allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits with two strikeouts in the final two innings to take the loss.

The Blue Jays had 10 hits, getting a single and a double from Bradley Jones who drove in two runs. Riley Adams also drove in two runs, going 1-for-5 while Randal Grichuk was 1-for-1 with three walks in a rehab game. Nash Knight was on base three times, going 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.

Roster Notes: Zach Logue was promoted to the Dunedin Blue Jays from Lansing. Matthew Gunter was sent to Lansing from Dunedin.

Lansing Lugnuts 5, Fort Wayne TinCaps 4

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts came from behind and then held off the Fort Wayne TinCaps for a 5-4 win on Friday.

Chavez Young was among four Lugnuts who had two hits each, going 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and a stolen base. Kevin Vicuna was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, stealing a base and Brock Lundquist was 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Samad Taylor stole his 15th base of the season and was also 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.

Donnie Sellers started for the Lugnuts, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks in four innings. Maximo Castillo piggybacked and tossed the remaining five innings, giving up two runs on two hits and three walks with four strikeouts.
