The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league teams won one of their four games with the Dunedin Blue Jays splitting their doubleheader, the Lansing Lugnuts having their game cancelled and the Bisons and Fisher Cats both losing.
Buffalo Bisons 3, Louisville Bats (CIN) 7
The triple-A Buffalo Bisons fell to the Louisville Bats 7-3 on Sunday, scoring just twice in the first inning and once in the ninth.
The Herd had eight hits in the game, with two from Cavan Biggio who hit a double and scored a run while Socrates Brito also hit a double, going 1/4 with an RBI and a run. Teoscar Hernandez was 1/4 with a stolen base and a run and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was 1/4 with an RBI. Andy Burns was 1/4 and Reese McGuire was 1/3 with a sac fly and an RBI while Andrew Guillotte was 1/3.
Andrew Sopko made the start, giving up four runs on nine hits (including three home runs) with one walk and one strikeout in 5 1/3 innings. Tayler Saucedo stranded a runner and allowed one of his own, giving up three hits in 1 2/3 innings. Conor Fisk gave up two solo home run in the eighth, walking two but only giving up two runs. Justin Shafer struck out two in the ninth, allowing two hits but no runs.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 5
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats fell 5-4 to the Hartford Yard Goats as the Yard Goats walked it off in the bottom of the 10th inning.
The Fisher Cats got a strong game from Patrick Kivlehan who was 2/4 with a double and a home run, driving in a pair and scoring once. Alberto Mineo continued his strong season with the bat, going 2/4 with two runs. Vinny Capra was 2/5 but was caught stealing and made a throwing error. Forrest Wall was 1/5 with a stolen base and Nash Knight was 1/4 with a run. Riley Adams was 0/2 but walked and hit a sacrifice fly, driving in a run. Santiago Espinal was 1/4 with an RBI.
Fireballer Nate Pearson hit his first hiccup of the season, allowing three runs to the Yard Goats on seven hits (including a home run) with two walks and six strikeouts in four innings. Jake Fishman went two scoreless innings, allowing just a hit and Ty Tice gave up an unearned run on a hit and two walks over two innings, striking out one. Bryan Baker took the loss, giving up an unearned run on one hit with one strikeout in one-plus innings.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 9
In the first game of a double header, the class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays were plastered by the Lakeland Flying Tigers, losing 9-1.
Righty Justin Dillon was on the mound, allowing six runs on nine hits with three walks and two strikeouts in four innings to take the loss. Connor Law allowed another three runs on five hits and two walks, striking out three in 2 2/3 innings. Matt Shannon was called in to finish the game, tossing 1/3 of an inning, striking out one but allowing one of his two inherited runners to score on a hit.
The hitters had just four hits including a solo home run by Cullen Large, who was 1/3. Ryan Noda, Kacy Clemens and Kevin Vicuna were each 1/3.

Roster Notes: Gage Burland and Grant Townsend were assigned to the Dunedin Blue Jays from extended spring training.
Dunedin Blue Jays 16, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 4
In Game 2 of the doubleheader, the Dunedin Blue Jays fired back, winning 16-4 over the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
Making his Dunedin debut was Grant Townsend, going five innings and giving up four runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts to get the win. Kyle Weatherly allowed a hit and two walks over two innings, striking out three but didn't allow a run.
The offence struck often, posting two six-run innings. Kevin Vicuna was 4/4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs while Cal Stevenson was 3/5 with two RBI and three runs and Norberto Obeso was a home run short of the cycle, going 3/5 with a double, a triple, three RBI and two runs. Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) was 2/4 with an RBI and two runs, stealing a base and Jesus Navarro was 2/4 with a double, an RBI and two runs. Samad Taylor was on base twice, going 1/3 with a stolen base, a walk, two RBI and two runs. Cullen Large was 1/1 with two walks, two sacrifice flies, three RBI and a run.
