The Buffalo Bisons continue to roll over the Syracuse Mets to pick up their 79th win as the season enters its final weekend.

Buffalo Bisons 4, Syracuse Mets 1

The Buffalo Bisons (79-47) got another solid game from the entire team to beat the Syracuse Mets 4-1.

Right fielder Gregory Polanco hit another home run, giving him nine in just 24 games with the Buffalo Bisons as he went 2-for-4 with the home run, an RBI and a run. Tyler White was 2-for-4 and Kevin Smith was 1-for-5 with his 21st home run of the year, driving in one and scoring once. Logan Warmoth was 1-for-3 with a walk and a double, scoring a run and Forrest Wall was 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Kellin Deglan (Langley, B.C.) was 1-for-4 and Nash Knight was 0-for-3 with a walk and a run.

Starter Zach Logue picked up his ninth win with the Bisons, striking out eight over five innings, allowing one run on five hits without walking anyone. Ryan Borucki walked one and struck out two in his inning while Jacob Waguespack struck out one in his frame. Anthony Castro allowed a hit in the eighth and Bryan Baker got his 11th save, striking out two in the ninth.
