The Toronto Blue Jays minor league affiliates were 3-2 in five games played on Thursday.
Buffalo Bisons 0, Worcester Red Sox (BOS) 7
The Buffalo Bisons (45-26) were a little worse for wear in the first game of the doubleheader with the Worcester Red Sox, losing 7-0.
Lefty Anthony Kay was on the mound to start, giving up six runs (two earned) on five hits (one HR) with a walk and five strikeouts in four innings. Travis Bergen struck out three in the fifth inning, allowing a hit and a walk and Hobie Harris allowed a solo home run, the only hit he surrendered) in the sixth.
Kevin Smith led the offence, going 2-for-3 with a double while Anthony Morales had the club's only other hit, going 1-for-2.

Roster Notes: Patrick Murphy was optioned to Buffalo. Jon Harris and Rodrigo Vigil were both promoted from New Hampshire to Buffalo.
Buffalo Bisons 8, Worcester Red Sox (BOS) 1
While they lost by seven runs in the first game, the Buffalo Bisons (46-26) won by seven runs in the second game, beating the Worcester Red Sox 8-1.
Dilson Herrera provided much of the Bisons' offence, going 2-for-3 with two solo home runs while Christian Colon hit a grand slam in the seventh to put it out of reach, going 1-for-4 with the blast and four RBI. Tyler White was 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run and Kevin Smith had two hits, going 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs, adding a stolen base. Rodrigo Vigil was 2-for-3 with a run and Logan Warmoth was 1-for-4 with a run.
Dany Jimenez was given the ball to run with it for a couple of innings and he kept the Sox off the board, allowing two hits and two walks with four strikeouts over two innings. Jacob Waguespack was the "bulk" guy, throwing 3 1/3 innings and allowing a run on three hits (one HR) with two walks and three strikeouts. Jeremy Beasley struck out one in 2/3 of an inning, stranding the runner he inherited from Waguespack and John Axford (Port Dover, Ont.) finished it, striking out two in the seventh.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS)

Vancouver Canadians 10, Spokane Indians (COL) 11
The Vancouver Canadians (34-41) scored 10 runs for the second game in a row but it wasn't enough on Thursday as they lost 11-10 to the Spokane Indians.
Right fielder Will Robertson had a three-hit game, going 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run whie Sebastian Espino was 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs. Philip Clarke went 2-for-5 with two RBI and Eric Rivera was 2-for-5 with a run and a stolen base. Davis Schneider was 2-for-4 with a walk and two RBI, scoring a run. Rafael Lantigua was 1-for-4 with a double, a wakl, two RBI and two runs. Tanner Morris was 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run and Spencer Horwitz was 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run.
Adam Kloffenstein started, going 4 2/3 innings, striking out six and he didn't walk anyone but allowed five runs on seven hits (one HR). Sean Mellen allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings. Roither Hernandez gave up two runs on three hits with two walks and two strikeouts and Willy Gaston allowed an unearned run on two hits and two walks in one inning.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 1
The Dunedin Blue Jays' (33-41) got some excellent pitching to beat the Bradenton Marauders 3-1.
Orelvis Martinez continues to slug for the Blue Jays, knocking his 19th home run of the year, going 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Zach Britton hit a double, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and Harrison Ray was 1-for-3. Steward Berroa was 1-for-3 with his 29th stolen base of the year, scoring a run.
Starter Sem Robberse was outstanding, allowing just one run on four hits (one HR) with only one walk and five strikeouts in seven innings to earn his fourth win. Juan De Paula finished it with a save, going two innings and striking out three.

DSL Blue Jays 11, DSL Padres 1
The DSL Blue Jays (6-5) offence hammered the DSL Padres, beating them 11-1 on Thursday.
Third baseman Luis Garcia continues to impress, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Francisco Fajardo was 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs, also stealing a base while Robert Robertis was on base twice, going 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, two runs and two stolen bases. Yhoangel Aponte was 1-for-3 with two walks, a double, an RBI and a stolen base and Cristian Felix was 1-for-2 with a run. Manuel Beltre was 0-for-4 but drove in a run and scored once. Jean Arnaez was 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Gabriel Ochoa started and walked three and struck out one in two innings and Pedro Acosta allowed just two hits in three innings, striking out two. Francis Mercedes struck out one in one inning and Pedro Munoz also provided a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in the seventh. Robin De Jesus allowed a run on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts in the eighth and Keiner Leon finished it, walking one and striking out one in the ninth.
