Blue Jays from Away
The FCL Blue Jays were the lone winners on Saturday with the Blue Jays organization going a collective 1-6.
Buffalo Bisons 2, Worcester Red Sox (BOS) 4
The Buffalo Bisons (45-28) couldn't match major league ace Chris Sale as he made a rehab start with the Worcester Red Sox with the Bisons falling 4-2.
Third baseman Nash Knight was the offensive star for the Bisons, going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, an RBI and a run. Tyler White was 2-for-4 with a double and Corey Dickerson was 1-for-4. Cullen Large also had a double, going 1-for-4 with a run.
Bowden Francis allowed three home runs, giving up four runs on seven hits with three walks in five innings for the loss. Travis Bergen (1 IP, 1 H, 2 K), Hobie Harris (1 IP) and Port Dover, Ont., native John Axford (1 IP, 1 H, 1 K) finished it off.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 6
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (34-38) dropped the first game of their doubleheader with the Portland Red Sox 6-4.
Second baseman Samad Taylor did his part, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs while LJ Talley was 2-for-3, as was Kevin Vicuna. Chris Bec was 1-for-3 with a double and a run while Chavez Young was 1-for-4 with an RBI and Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1-for-4.
Casey Lawrence took the loss, giving up five runs on five hits (two HRs) with a walk and six strikeouts in five innings. Kyle Johnston gave up a run on the sixth, allowing two hits and a walk.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 0, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 1
The follow up to the first game of the doubleheader wasn't any better for the Fisher Cats (34-39) as they lost 1-0 to Portland.
The 'Cats had just three hits, with Jordan Groshans (1-for-3), LJ Talley (1-for-3) and Reggie Pruitt (1-for-3) getting the club's only hits. Ryan Gold made his double-A debut and was 0-for-2 with a walk and an error.
Luis Quinones made the start, taking a tough loss, but went five strong innings, allowing just two hits and one unearned run with two walks and seven strikeouts. Marcus Reyes threw a scoreless sixth, walking one to finish off the game.

Vancouver Canadians 0, Spokane Indians (COL) 4
A day after these two teams combined for 26 runs, the Vancouver Canadians (34-43) couldn't score any, falling 4-0 to the Spokane Indians.
The Canadians had just four hits, including two from Luis De Los Santos, and singles from Tanner Morris (1-for-3, BB) and Rafael Lantigua (1-for-4).
Paxton Schultz was the starter, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts over six innings. Hagen Danner surrendered a run on two hits with one strikeout and three wild pitches in the seventh and Cobi Johnson had a 1-2-3 eighth.

Dunedin Blue Jays 10, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 13
The Dunedin Blue Jays' (34-42) scored 10 runs in a game for the second consecutive time but sill lost 13-10 to the Bradenton Marauders.
Mack Mueller led the offensive charge, going 4-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two stolen bases. Addison Barger had two hits, going 2-for-4 with his second home run in as many games, a walk, two RBI and three runs. Harrison Ray had two hits, going 2-for-6 with an RBI and a stolen base while Steward Berroa was 2-for-4 with a triple, two waks, two RBI, three runs and two stolen bases. Miguel Hiraldo walked twice, driving in a run and scoring a run, also stealing a base and Hugo Cardona also walked twice, scoring a run and steailng a base. Jose Ferrer was 1-for-4 with an RBI and P.K. Morris was 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs.
On the mound, Nathanael Perez got shelled to start the game, giving up four home runs and seven runs, allowing 10 hits and one walk with four strikeouts in five innings. Jiorgeny Casimiri also allowed three runs on two hits (two HRs) with a walk and a strikeout in one inning and Rafael Monsion allowed a home run among two hits and two runs with two walks and a strikeout in the seventh. Thomas Ruwe finished it off, giving up a run on a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in the eighth.

FCL Blue Jays 8, FCL Tigers East 3
The FCL Blue Jays (13-10) picked up an 8-3 win over the dreadful FCL Tigers East.
Gabriel Martinez had another two hits, going 2-for-5 with two runs and a stolen base while Rainer Nunez hit his third home run of the year, going 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Jhon Solarte was 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base and catcher Victor Mesia was 1-for-4 with a run. Emmanuel Sanchez was 1-for-2 with a run and Yhon Perez was 1-for-1 with a stolen base and a run. Angel Del Rosario was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI and Amell Brazoban was 0-for-3 but drove in a run and scored, also steaing a base.
Carl Edwards Jr. made a rehab appearance, striking out two in the first inning. Dahian Santos allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits (one HR) and one walk with seven strikeouts in the next five innings and Cesar Ayalaa threw three scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk with two strikeouts for the save.

DSL Blue Jays 8, DSL Tigers 9
The DSL Blue Jays (6-6) came within one run of the DSL Tigers, falling just short and losing 9-8.
Luis Garcia had another two hits for the Blue Jays, with his batting average falling to .463 as he drove in two runs and stole a base. Cristian Feliz was 1-for-4 with a walk, a double, an RBI and two runs and Martin Gimenez, playing third base, was 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run. Victor Arias, coming in for Robert Robertis, who walked once, was 1-for-3 with two runs. Jonathan Peguero was 1-for-1 and Luis Bullon was 0-for-2 but walked twice with an RBI and a run. Wilder Perez was 1-for-1 and Francisco Veracierto was 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run. Manuel Beltre was 0-for-5.
Starting was Eliander Alcalde who went four hitless innings, walking two and striking out five. Neiyerbe Obeso was tagged for four runs on two hits, a walk and a hit batter in 1/3 of an inning while Frank Medina allowed all three inherited runners to score and gave up a run of his own on one hit and two walks with one strikeout in 2/3 of an inning. Jean Lopez took the loss, giving up three runs (two earned) on three hits (one HR) and four walks with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings and Yondrei Rojas allowed a run on two hits and two walks in 1 1/3 innings, striking out two.
