Roster Notes: Anthony Kay was activated off the injured list by the Blue Jays and optioned to Buffalo.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) 9
While they got off to a promising start, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (9-17) could only manage three runs as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies rumbled to a 9-3 win.
The day was highlighted by the first professional home run from first-round draftee Austin Martin as he went 2-for-5 with the solo blast. Also going deep was LJ Talley who was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run. Samad Taylor hit a double, going 1-for-3 with a run and Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 2-for-5. Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) was 1-for-4.
Troy Miller got the start, giving up seven runs on seven hits (three HRs) with one walk and two strikeouts in four innings. Sean Rackoski, activated off the IL, allowed another home run, giving up two runs on three hits and a walk with one strikeout in two innings. Connor Law allowed just a walk and struck out four in two innings and Jon Harris finished it, walking one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 7, Eugene Emeralds (SF) 5
The Vancouver Canadians' (16-11) got most of their runs early and held off the charging Eugene Emeralds to come away with a 7-5 victory.
Starter Luis Quinones continues to show tremendous ability to strike out batters, finishing five innings with 11 Ks to pick up his first win of the year. He allowed two runs on just one hit (a HR) with three walks to go with the 11 strikeouts. Cobi Johnson threw two scoreless innings, allowing a hit and a walk. Hagen Danner couldn't get an out, allowing two hits and a walk, leading to two runs (one earned) before Marcus Reyes came in to throw two innings, allowing a run on a hit and two walks with three strikeouts.
Rafael Lantigua had a strong day, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run while Tanner Morris was on base three times, going 1-for-2 with two walks, two RBI and a run. Tanner Kirwer (Sherwood Park, Alta.) was on base twice, going 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk, an RBI, a run and a stolen base. Spencer Horwitz hit a double, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run while Ryan Gold was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run. Ronny Brito was 1-for-4 with a solo home run and Eric Rivera was 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run.

Dunedin Blue Jays 7, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 9
The Dunedin Blue Jays' (8-19) staged a late comeback but it wasn't enough as they fell 9-7 to the Bradenton Marauders.
Despite only getting six hits, the offence clicked for seven runs, getting a two-run home run from Miguel Hiraldo (1-for-4, 2 RBI, 2 R) and a solo shot from PK Morris (2-for-4, RBI, 2 R). Orelvis Martinez was 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI while Jhon Solarte was 1-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, a run and a stolen base. Mack Mueller was 1-for-3 with a double and a run.
On the mound was Nathanael Perez who allowed two runs on three hits with three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings. Newly signed Sean Mellen was next, going 1 1/3 innings with just a walk to blemish his record and three strikeouts. Nick Frasso allowed two hits and struck out two in an inning and Juan De Paula took the loss, giving up three runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks, striking out two. Julian Valdez was tagged for four runs in two innings, giving up four hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
