The Blue Jays' minor league affiliates were 2-1, getting a big win from Vancouver and a comeback win by the Dunedin Blue Jays.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 5

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (10-21) fell in another one-run game that was decided in the late innings as the Portland Sea Dogs scored in the bottom of the eighth to go ahead 5-4 for the eventual win.

Playing again in centre field, Samad Taylor had another huge game, going 3-for-4 with a home run in his second consecutive game, an RBI and a run. Gabriel Moreno hit a double, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and Austin Martin was 1-for-3 with a walk. Brock Lundquist was 1-for-4 with an outfield assist and Nick Podkul was 1-for-3 with a run.

On the mound, Simeon Woods Richardson was strong, throwing five innings and giving up just one run on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Graham Spraker took some damage, allowing three runs on two hits and three walks without retiring a batter while Jon Harris inherited the bases loaded and allowed just one runner to score, throwing two otherwise scoreless innings. Andrew McInvale finished it, taking the loss, allowing an unearned run on two hits with three strikeouts in the eighth.

Vancouver Canadians 10, Spokane Indians (COL) 2

The Vancouver Canadians' (19-13) hitters brought the lumber and the pitchers kept the Spokane Indians bats on ice as the Cs beat Spokane 10-2.

Playing first base, Ryan Gold was 3-for-3 with a walk and two RBI, also taking an intentional walk and got hit by a pitch. Cameron Eden was 2-for-6 with a double, three RBI and two runs while Luis De Los Santos was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run. Tanner Kirwer was 1-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and two runs and Phil Clarke was 0-for-2 but walked three times, scoring twice. Spencer Horwitz was 1-for-5 with a walk, an RBI and a run and Tanner Morris was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Sebastian Espino was 1-for-4 with a sac fly and two RBI and Eric Rivera was 1-for-4 with a walk and a run.

CJ Van Eyk picked up his first professional win, tossing five innings and giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits (one HR) and two walks with five strikeouts. Brandon Eisert threw two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out four and Adrian Hernandez made his Vancouver debut, allowing just a hit and striking out four over two innings.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 4

The Dunedin Blue Jays (11-21) pulled one out of the fire on Wednesday night, coming back to score one on a Leo Jimenez single in the top of the ninth and another in the top of the 11th on a sac fly from the bat of Jimenez to win 5-4 over the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

Nathanael Perez got the start, throwing two scoreless innings, but walked three and struck out two. Elixon Caballero walked one and struck out two in his inning and Juan De Paula allowed a run on a hit and three walks over three innings, striking out two. Gabriel Ponce surrendered three more runs to let the Flying Tigers tie up the score, allowing a hit and a walk and striking out two. The Blue Jays brought Alex Nolan (Burlington, Ont.) in starting in the eighth and he successfully shut down the Flying Tigers, tossing four innings in relief, walking one and giving up a hit while striking out three to pick up the win.

Jimenez was the offensive hero but Orelvis Martinez narrowly missed a cycle, going 3-for-6 with a double and a triple, driving in two runs. Jimenez was 2-for-5 with two RBI while PK Mroris was 2-for-3 with two walks and two stolen bases. Miguel Hiraldo was 1-for-5 with a walk, an RBI and a run and Mack Mueller was 1-for-5. Steward Berroa was 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs.
