The Blue Jays' minor league affiliates swept the board, winning all four of their games on a Manoah day in which one of the club's top pitching prospects toed the rubber.
Buffalo Bisons 12, Rochester Red Wings (MIN) 0
The Buffalo Bisons (5-3) shut down the Rochester Red Wings on just three hits on their way to a 12-0 win behind Alek Manoah.
Manoah was the story and while he didn't strike out 12 batters the way he did in his season debut, he did limit the Red Wings to just one hit, two walks and one hit batter on just 76 pitches over six innings, striking out five. James Dykstra struck out two and walked one in his inning of work while Jackson McClelland and Bryan Baker each allowed a hit and struck out one in an inning each.
The Bisons' offence unloaded in a big way, scoring 12 times on 15 hits with Logan Warmoth and Christian Colon leading the way. They each had three hits with a double, a home run and a walk and Colon drove in four and scored three while Warmoth drove in three and scored once. Juan Graterol was 2-for-4 with three RBI, a run and a sac fly while Breyvic Valera was 2-for-3 with two walks, a triple, a stolen base and a run, driving in two. Tyler White also had a pair of hits including a double, scoring twice and Richard Urena was 2-for-5 with a double and a run. Kevin Smith was 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7, Somerset Patriots (NYY) 2
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (3-5) got behind a strong pitching performance by Elvis Luciano and a big game from Brock Lundquist to beat the Somerset Patriots 7-2.
Luciano tossed five innings, giving up just one run on three hits with a walk and five strikeouts but needed 83 pitches (47 strikes) to get through the five frames. Andrew McInvale got the win in his double-A debut and got the win but blew a save, going two innings and giving up a run on a hit and a walk, striking out three. Mike Ellenbest finished it off, walking two and giving up a hit in two innings and striking out two.
Lundquist drove in five runs, going 2-for-4 with two runs and his second home run of the year, a grand slam. Gabriel Moreno also continued his torrid hitting, raising his batting average to .500 with a 3-for-3 game and got hit by a pitch. Austin Martin was also hit by a pitch but went 0-for-4 and Kevin Vicuna was 1-for-3 with a run and a hit by pitch. Samad Taylor was 1-for-4 with an RBI and Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1-for-4 with a walk, a double and an RBI.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Spokane Indians (COL) 0
In the second shutout for a Blue Jays minor league team on the day, the Vancouver Canadians (4-4) blanked the Spokane Indians 2-0.
Troy Miller was outstanding for the C's, tossing five scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and two walks with six strikeouts to pick up his first win. Brayden Bouchey (Vancouver, B.C.) made his season debut, striking out one and hitting two batters while Cobi Johnson walked two in the seventh, striking out two. Will McAffer (North Vancouver, B.C.) picked up the save, striking out three in two innings, allowing a hit and a walk.
The offence had nine hits but didn't take any walks, scoring just twice in the game. Cameron Eden had two hits and scored a run while Ryan Gold was 2-for-4 with an RBI. LJ Talley was 2-for-3 and Luis De Los Santos was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Ronny Brito was 1-for-3 with a double and a run and Spencer Horwitz was 1-or-4.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 3
The Dunedin Blue Jays (2-6) pulled off another win, scoring four times on 12 hits and holding the Bradenton Marauders to just three runs in a 4-3 win.
Naswell Paulino got into some trouble, walking five batters and allowing three runs on three hits with four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings. Lazaro Estrada came in with two runners aboard and, after allowing both to score, shut things down, giving up three hits and three walks with no runs of his own, striking out four in 2 2/3 innings. Roither Hernandez got the win, allowing two walks in 2 2/3 innings, striking out two.
The bottom of the order churned for the Blue Jays with the last four men in the order getting two hits each. PK Morris was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Mack Mueller was 2-for-4 with a double and a run, Sebastian Espino was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base and Eric Rivera was 2-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base, scoring a run. Orelvis Martinez also had two hits, going 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run while Zach Britton was 1-for-4 with a double and a run. Miguel Hiraldo was 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base.
