The Blue Jays' minor league affiliates split their games on Thursday, going 2-2 with wins in Buffalo and Vancouver.
Buffalo Bisons 3, Rochester Red Wings (MIN) 1
While their margin of victory wasn't as emphatic as it was on Wednesday, the Buffalo Bisons (6-3) beat the Rochester Red Wings by a 3-1 score on Thursday evening.
The Herd got another strong pitching performance, this time from T.J. Zeuch, who threw six innings of one-run ball and that run was unearned as he allowed just three hits and two walks with three strikeouts, throwing 87 pitches, 63 of which were for strikes. Tayler Saucedo continued his stellar start to the season, throwing another two hitless innings, striking out three more without walking anyone. Hobie Harris allowed just a hit over his ninth inning, picking up the save and striking out two.
Rightfielder Forrest Wall had another big game for the Bisons, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases while Breyvic Valera had the only extra-base hit, a double, doing 2-for-2 with the double, two walks and three RBI. Tyler White (1-for-4) and Christian Colon (1-for-3, R, SB) had the club's other two hits.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 1, Somerset Patriots (NYY) 6
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (3-6) couldn't get their offence going and committed four errors on their way to a 6-1 loss to the Somerset Patriots.
The Fisher Cats had just six hits including a single and a double from Montreal native Otto Lopez (2-for-4, 2B, RBI) and the same from Vinny Capra (2-for-3, 2B, R). Austin Martin was 1-for-4 and Jordan Groshans was 1-for-4. Groshans, playing shortstop, made his fifth error of the season while Capra, Christopher Bec and Lopez each made an error. Martin had an outfield assist from center field.
The loss squandered a strong start from Kyle Johnston who went five innings for the Fisher Cats, allowing just four hits and three walks with two strikeouts and no runs allowed. Jon Harris allowed a run on a solo home run among two hits in two innings while Emerson Jimenez couldn't get the ball to the catcher, giving up four runs on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts but four wild pitches and a hit batter in one inning. Connor Law finished the game, allowing a run on a hit with one strikeout in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 3, Spokane Indians (COL) 2
The Vancouver Canadians (5-4) got a strong start from the Jays' second-round pick in 2020 while also getting a three-run home run in the sixth from Luis De Los Santos to give them just enough runs to hold off the Spokane Indians for a 3-2 win.
CJ Van Eyck went 4 2/3 innings, throwing 73 pitches (43 for strikes) and struck out seven batters, giving up just one run on a solo home run among three hits with two walks. Van Eyck had a strong rebound to his difficult first start, giving him some positive results to work with. In his class-A Advanced debut, Brandon Eisert threw 2 1/3 innings of hitless relief, striking out three and earning the win while Justin Maese picked up the save, throwing two innings and giving up an unearned run on a walk with one strikeout.
Aside from De Los Santos's (1-for-3, HR, BB, 3 RBI) big blast, his first of the year, Spencer Horwitz had another strong game at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two walks and a run. Phil Clarke was 1-for-4 while LJ Talley was 1-fpr-3 with a walk. Ryan Gold was 0-for-2 but walked twice and scored once.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 4
The Dunedin Blue Jays (2-7) couldn't get much going on offence, falling 4-1 to the Bradenton Marauders.
The Blue Jays had just five hits including a solo home run from DH Zach Britton, who was 1-for-3. Addison Barger was 1-for-3 with a walk while Orelvis Martinez was 1-for-4. Sebastian Espino and Ryan Sloniger were both 1-for-3.
The starter was Jol Concepcion who went four innings, giving up two runs on three hits with five walks and one strikeout. Thomas Ruwe allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout and brought his ERA on the season down to 37.80 while Willy Gaston allowed a run on a hit with four strikeouts in two innings. Gabriel Ponce struck out three, allowing a hit and a walk in his two innings to finish the game.
