With seven games on the schedule for Monday, the Blue Jays' affiliates were 3-3 with the Dunedin Blue Jays getting rained out and two of the clubs shutting out their opponents.

Buffalo Bisons 7, Charlotte Knights (CWS) 9

The triple-A Buffalo Bisons couldn't hold on to their slim lead, giving up the tying run in the eighth and allowing two more in the top of the 10th as they fell 9-7 to the Charlotte Knights in 10 innings.

Shawn Morimando allowed two runs over four innings in the start, giving up three hits and four walks with four strikeouts before Tayler Saucedo gave up four runs on seven hits (including a home run) in 2 1/3 innings Kirby Snead allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout over 1 2/3 innings and Jason Adam gave up the final two runs (one earned) in the 10th, pitching two innings and allowing a home run and a walk but striking out four.

Jonathan Davis had a big night, going 3/5 with a home run and three RBI, scoring twice while Andy Burns was 2/3 with a home run, a walk, an RBI, a run and a stolen base. Bo Bichette was 2/5 with a double and a run and Socrates Brito was 2/4 with a walk. Reese McGuire (1/4, 2B, RBI) and Richard Urena (1/4, 2B, R) each hit a double while Alen Hanson (1/2, RBI, SF) and Dalton Pompey (Mississauga, Ont.) (1/4, RBI, SF) each hit a sac fly. Patrick Kivlehan was 1/4 with a walk and two runs and Rowdy Tellez got into the game late as a pitch hitter, going 0/1.

Roster Notes: Conor Fisk was returned to the Buffalo Bisons and Dalton Pompey moved up to Buffalo to continue his rehab. Rowdy Tellez was sent down to Buffalo and Billy McKinney was promoted to Toronto.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 0

The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats got a dominant performance from Justin Dillon as they shut out the Portland Sea Dogs to open their series on Monday.

Dillon pitched seven innings and allowed just two hits and two walks, hitting a batter and striking out seven but didn't get the win as the Fisher Cats waited until the bottom of the eighth to score their two runs. Dany Jimenez picked up the win, allowing just a hit and striking out four in the final two innings.

Forrest Wall hit a home run in his third consecutive game, hitting a two-run blast in the eighth to give the Fisher Cats the win as he went 1/4 with two RBI. Nash Knight was 3/4 with three singles and Santiago Espinal (1/4), Logan Warmoth (1/4) and Joshua Palacios (1/3) each had a single. Riley Adams walked twice and Vinny Capra was 0/2 with a walk and a run.

Lansing Lugnuts 7, Cedar Rapids Kernels (MIN) 14

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts were doubled up, allowing six home runs and falling 14-7 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 3/5 with a single, a double and a home run, driving in one and scoring once and was caught stealing. Rafael Lantigua also had three hits, going 3/5 with a double, a run and a stolen base while Griffin Conine hit his 12th home run of the year, going 2/4 with two RBI, a walk and two runs. Hagen Danner also had two hits, going 2/5 with a double and a run. Gabriel Moreno was 1/5 with a double and a run and John Aiello was 1/5 with a home run and three RBI. D.J. Neal (1/4, RBI) and Jake Brodt (1/5) each had a hit and Hunter Steinmetz was 0/2 but walked three times.

Troy Miller was roughed up in his start, allowing six runs on eight hits (including two home runs) and two walks with three strikeouts over three innings. Joey Pulido allowed another five runs on three hits (including two home runs) and two walks in just 1/3 of an inning and he also allowed all three inherited runners to score. Sean Rackoski was the only Lugnuts pitcher who didn't allow a home run, giving up just a hit and two walks with three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings of relief. Juan Nunez gave up two more home runs among four hits and a walk to score three runs in the eighth.

Vancouver Canadians 6, Tri-City Dust Devils (SD) 2

The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians won their second straight game, beating the Tri-City Dust Devils 6-2.

Adam Kloffenstein had a strong start, allowing only one unearned run on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts through five innings. Grayson Huffman followed, giving up just a hit with three strikeouts in two innings and Andy McGuire allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout over the final two frames.

The Canadians had nine hits as a club with just Tanner Morris hitting a double (1/5, R) while Will Robertson was 2/3 with a walk and two runs and Mc Gregory Contreras was 2/4 with two RBI, a run and an outfield assist. Trevor Schwecke (1/3, BB, RBI, R), Brett Wright (1/3, R), Dom Abbadessa (1/4, RBI) and Adrian Ramos (1/3, BB, SB, CS) all had a single and Jesus Lopez was 0/2 but walked and drove in a run with a sac fly.

Bluefield Blue Jays, Princeton Rays (TB)

GCL Blue Jays 2, GCL Tigers East 0

The GCL Blue Jays shut out the GCL Tigers East, beating them 2-0.

The Blue Jays got some stellar pitching on the day, with Blake Sanderson giving up two hits and striking out three. Santos Moreno came on for him, throwing the final six innings and allowing only two hits with three strikeouts to get his first win of the year.

Hugo Cardona was 1/4 with an RBI and a stolen base while Yhon Perez hit the only extra-base hit, going 1/3 with a double and a run. Rainer Nunez (1/4, R), Alberto Rodriguez (1/4) and Hugo Cardona (1/4, RBI) each had a hit and Hanley Acevedo was 0/2 with a walk and a sac fly, driving in a run.

DSL Blue Jays, 2 DSL D-backs 5

The DSL Blue Jays fell 5-2 to the DSL D-backs1 on Monday.

Juan Pizarro was 2/4 with an RBI and a stolen base while Gabriel Martinez was on base three times, going 1/2 with a triple and two walks, stealing a base. Leonel Callez (1/4, R) and Daniel Oliva (1/2) each had a single while Glenn Santiago was 1/3 with a double, a walk and a run.

Juanfer Castro started and allowed four runs on seven hits (including a home run) with a walk and five strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. Winder Garcia allowed a hit and two walks over two innings, striking out two and Edgar Castro allowed a run on two hits and a walk with two strikeouts in two innings. Juan Martinez allowed a hit in the final 1/3 of an inning he pitched.
