Buffalo Bisons 7, Louisville Bats (CIN) 6
Returning home to Buffalo, the triple-A Bisons came away with a walk-off win against the Louisville Bats, winning 7-6 on Friday night.
Teoscar Hernandez, in his first start of the year for the Bisons, went deep, driving in two runs to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth and went 1/5 overall with two RBI. Cavan Biggio was 2/5 with a double, an RBI and a run while Andy Burns was 2/3 with a walk and Ben Revere was 2/4. Jordan Patterson was 1/3 with a double and a walk, scoring twice and Patrick Cantwell was 1/3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was 1/4 with an RBI and Anthony Alford, in the leadoff spot, was 1/4 with a walk and an RBI.
Starter Sean Reid-Foley had one of his better starts of the year and although he gave up five runs, only three were earned and he allowed only two hits and three walks in six innings, striking out five. Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) struck out three in two innings of relief, allowing a run on a hit and a walk. Tayler Saucedo picked up the win, allowing just a walk in the ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 2
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats evened up their series with the Hartford Yard Goats, scoring two in the seventh and one in the ninth to come away with a 4-2 win.
The Fisher Cats got seven hits including home runs from Kevin Smith (1/3, 2 RBI, SF) and Chad Spanberger (1/3, 2 RBI) while Brock Lundquist had another two hits, going 2/4 with a triple and a run. Christian Williams was 1/4 with a run and Riley Adams was 1/3 with a walk as Patrick Kivlehan was 1/3 with a walk and a stolen base but was also picked off.
Picking up his third win of the year was starter Zach Logue who tossed 6 1/3 innings of two-run ball, giving up six hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Jackson McClelland allowed a hit and a walk over 1 2/3 innings, stranding two runners from Logue and striking out a pair while Bryan Baker got the save, striking out one in the ninth.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 3
The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays opened their series with the Lakeland Flying Tigers with a 3-1 loss on Friday.
The Blue Jays had just five hits with Chavez Young going 2/4 with a double and an RBI while Ryan Noda was 2/4 with a double and a run. Alejandro Kirk was 1/3 with a walk, picking up the Jays' only other hit.
Taking the hill was Maximo Castillo who fired six solid innings, giving up just two runs on seven hits with four strikeouts. Emerson Jimenez provided a scoreless inning in the seventh and Matt Shannon allowed a run on three hits with three strikeouts in the eighth.

Lansing Lugnuts 2, Fort Wayne Tincaps (SD) 3
Friday's game was a much closer affair but the low-A Lansing Lugnuts couldn't overcome the three runs that the Fort Wayne Tincaps scored in the bottom of the first in a 3-2 loss.
Getting into trouble in the first inning was starter Cobi Johnson who allowed a two-run home run three batters into the inning and then another two hits later, a third run had come into score. Johnson worked around two walks in the second but only allowed one more runner through five innings. Leaving with three runs allowed on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts in five frames. Fitz Stadler tossed three innings, allowing just a hit and hitting a batter while striking out four.
The Lugnuts had two hits from Ryan Gold who was 2/4 with a double while Luis De Los Santos was also 2/4. Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1/4 with a double and an RBI and Reggie Pruitt was 1/4 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base. Mc Gregory Contreras was 1/3 with a walk and double, scoring a run.
