With three games going on in Blue Jays land, there was just one win in the minor leagues as the low-A Lansing Lugnuts continued their winning ways but the double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats came down to earth a bit with Tim Tebow visiting.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 1, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 11

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, one day after two-hitting the Hartford Yard Goats, were manhandled by the Binghamton Rumble Ponies who soundly defeated the Fisher Cats by an 11-1 score, getting 21 hits off the Fisher Cats' pitching staff.

Francisco Rios gave up seven hits over five innings, including two home runs, allowing four runs with a walk and five strikeouts over five innings. Jose Fernandez gave up four runs on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings while Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) also gave up seven hits and a walk leading to three runs with two strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings.

Harold Ramirez had two of the Fisher Cats' six hits, going 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Cavan Biggio was 1-for-4 with a double and Vladimir Guerrero (Montreal, Que.) was 1-for-4 with a run. Andrew Guillotte was 1-for-3 with a walk and an outfield assist, throwing out Tim Tebow at second base.

Dunedin Blue Jays 2, Tampa Tarpons 6

The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays lost their second straight game by a four-run margin, losing 6-2 to the Tampa Tarpons on Thursday night.

The Blue Jays had just five hits including a double from Kacy Clemens and singles from Logan Warmoth (1-for-3, BB, R), Alberto Mineo (1-for-4, RBI, R), Nash Knight (1-for-4) and D.J. Davis (1-for-3).

Starting pitcher Patrick Murphy took the loss, giving up four runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts over five innings. Juliandry Higuera didn't allow a base runner, pitching two perfect innings with two strikeouts and Ty Tice surrendered the final two runs on two hits (including a home run) and a walk in the final frame, striking out one.

Lansing Lugnuts 4, Dayton Dragons 1

While Dory says "just keep swimming," the Lansing Lugnuts say "just keep winning," as they moved their record to 27-13 with a 4-1 win over the Dayton Dragons.

The pitching staff led the way in this one as Turner Larkins turned in a splendid performance, tossing six scoreless innings, giving up just four hits and striking out seven without walking anyone, using just 62 pitches. Brody Rodning got a three-inning save, tossing the final frames and giving up a run on two hits with one strikeout.

Kevin Vicuna was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs while Samad Taylor was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Kevin Smith was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run while Brock Lundquist was 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a walk. Brandon Polizzi, making his first start of the year, playing center field, was 1-for-3.

Roster Notes: Andres Sotillo was promoted from extended spring training and Javier Hernandez was placed on the 7-day DL.
