Blue Jays from Away
In five games for the Blue Jays' minor leaguers, their record was 2-3 as the DSL Blue Jays lost their first game and the Dunedin Blue Jays' losing skid continues.
Buffalo Bisons 0, Pawtucket Red Sox 11
The Buffalo Bisons opened their series on the road with the Pawtucket Red Sox, losing 11-0. T.J. House was charged with six runs (five earned) on eight hits and four walks in 5 2/3 innings before Murphy Smith took the other five on his record, pitching just 2/3 of an inning. Chad Girodo, who came in with the bases loaded and allowed all three inherited runners to score, gave up three hits and struck out one in the final 1 2/3 innings.
Ian Parmley had three of the four Bisons hits, going 3/3 with a double and International League Batter of the Week Jason Leblebijian was 1/3.

Roster Notes: Lucas Harrell was assigned to Buffalo from Dunedin.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Erie SeaWolves 1
Steve Pearce was making a rehab start as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Erie SeaWolves 2-1 in 10 innings. Francisco Rios was the starter for New Hampshire, making his first start after coming off the DL. He was on a pitch limit, going just three innings but he allowed just one hit and struck out one. Shane Dawson (Drayton Valley, Alta.) came in for the longer haul, going five more innings and giving up one run on four hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Jose Fernandez pitched a scoreless ninth despite allowing a hit and a walk while Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) picked up the win, tossing a scoreless 10th with a hit, a walk and a strikeout.
Jonathan Davis was the hero, driving in Gunnar Heidt's double in the 10th inning to walk off with the win. Davis was 2/5 while Heidt was 1/3 with the double and a walk, scoring both of New Hampshire's runs. Harold Ramirez also hit a double while Richard Urena hit a double and drove in the club's other run.

Roster Notes: Steve Pearce was sent to New Hampshire for a rehab assignment while Francisco Rios was activated off the 7-day DL. Josh DeGraaf was sent down to Dunedin
Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Bradenton Marauders 2
The Dunedin Blue Jays continued their losing streak with a 2-1 loss to the Bradenton Marauders. Angel Perdomo had a strong start, going five innings and giving up just one unearned run on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts, getting seven ground outs to just three fly outs. Zach Jackson took the loss despite striking out three batters in two innings, he allowed a run on three hits. Adonys Cardona and Danny Young each pitched a scoreless inning, striking out two each to finish the game.
The offense was fairly quiet although Lane Thomas, Ryan Hissey and Josh Almonte were each 2/4 with Hissey driving in the club's only run. Max Pentecost was leading off as the DH and walked twice while Cavan Biggio and Connor Panas (Toronto, Ont.) were each 1/3 with a walk and Biggio getting the club's only extra-base hit, a double, with his knock.

Roster Notes: Josh DeGraaf was sent down to Dunedin from New Hampshire. Lucas Harrell was promoted back to Buffalo from Dunedin.
Lansing Lugnuts 7, Dayton Dragons 3
The Lansing Lugnuts got a big outburst from Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. who led the club to a 7-3 win over the Dayton Dragons. Guerrero was 3/4 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI, raising his batting average to .344 while Bo Bichette, the league leader in batting average, raised his to .385 with a 2/4 game that included a double, two runs and an RBI.
Osman Gutierrez had a solid start, lowering his ERA to 12.38 with five innings of three-run (two earned) ball on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Geno Encina held the Dragons off the board for three innings and Kirby Snead finished the game with a scoreless ninth.
Player of the Game: Vladimir Guerrero, Jr.
Roster Notes: Yennsy Diaz and Matt Morgan were assigned to the Lansing Lugnuts while Patrick Murphy and Andres Sotillo were placed on the DL.
DSL Blue Jays 4, DSL D-backs 10
The DSL Blue Jays lost their first game of the season to the DSL D-backs, 10-4. Nathanael Perez allowed three runs on six hits but didn't walk anyone and struck out five in 2 1/3 innings. Ronald Magdaniel relieved him and shut things down for 2 2/3 innings, allowing four hits and striking out three. Nicolas Medina gave up four runs on two hits and two walks in 1 1/3 innings and Geremy Jimenez couldn't get an out as he allowed three runs on two hits and three walks. Brayan Mejia finished the game, striking out two and walking one in 1 2/3 innings.
The offense had just five hits including two from Steward Berroa who was 2/4 with a run and Hector Guerrero who was 2/3 with an RBI and a walk.
