New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Reading Fightin Phils 3

Ryan McBroom was 2/5 with a double and two RBI while Andrew Guillotte's batting average plummeted to .667 after he went 1/3 with a walk and a stolen base.
The New Hampshire bullpen locked things down after Shane Dawson's (Drayton Valley, Alta.) six strong innings. Dawson allowed three runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out three before turning things over to the 'pen. Justin Shafer provided a perfect seventh, striking out two while Tim Mayza threw a perfect eighth. Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Lakeland Flying Tigers 1
The Dunedin Blue Jays didn’t need much offense to dispatch the Lakeland Flying Tigers 3-1, thanks to some help from a former Blue Jay. Pitching in the top of the seventh, Anthony Gose started his inning off by walking Connor Panas (Toronto, Ont.) and D.J. Davis, getting Kevin Vicuna out on a sac bunt and hitting Cavan Biggio with a pitch to load the bases. A wild pitch and a Lane Thomas double cleared the bases, giving the Blue Jays all the offense they needed. Thomas was 2/4 with two doubles and two RBI while Juan Kelly also hit a double.
Angel Perdomo had what was probably his best outing of the year, tossing six scoreless innings, giving up just three hits and one walk while striking out seven. Adonys Cardona pitched the seventh and allowed Lakeland’s only run while Tom Robson (Richmond, B.C.) and Daniel Young each struck out two in his perfect inning.
Player of the Game: Angel Perdomo
Lansing Lugnuts 8, Great Lakes Loons 12
The Lansing Lugnuts looked like they might be able to mount yet another comeback against the Great Lakes Loons but, despite four home runs, the Lugnuts lost 12-8. The pitching and defense let the club down with Mike Ellenbest seeing his ERA rise to 8.29 after allowing six runs on eight hits in five innings of work. He gave up two home runs and walked three but also struck out five. Geno Encina allowed six more runs in three innings but only one of those runs was earned. He allowed four hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Nick Hartman finished the game with a scoreless ninth, walking one.
Bradley Jones had a huge game, missing the cycle by a triple but going 4/5 with a double, a home run, an RBI and two runs. Bo Bichette also went deep, going 2/4 with a home run and two RBI while Christian Williams connected for his first home run of the year, going 1/3 with the dinger, three RBI, two walks and a run. J.B. Woodman hit his third home run of the year, hitting his blast in the sixth inning (along with WIlliams and Bichette) going 1/4 with a walk and three strikeouts. Edward Olivares had a rough game, going 1/5 with a double but was caught stealing and committed two errors in the field.
