It was the triple-A Buffalo Bisons' turn to have their game postponed and the remaining three teams were 2-1.

Postponed due to weather.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 1, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 4

The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats couldn't get their offence going and Patrick Murphy's pitch count got out of control as they lost 4-1 to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Murphy tossed 90 pitches over 4 1/3 innings, walking three and allowing five hits for four runs (three earned) with two strikeouts. Tayler Saucedo came in with two runners on and stranded them both, going 2 1/3 innings with three walks, a hit and four strikeouts. Ty Tice also racked up the strikeout totals, finishing the game and getting the last four outs via the K, allowing a hit.

Kevin Smith drove in the Fisher Cats' only run, going 1/4 with a double while Alberto Mineo had another pair of hits including a double, going 2/4 with a run. Brock Lundquist went 2/4 and Santiago Espinal and Vinny Capra each had a single while Espinal stole second base.

Dunedin Blue Jays 6, Charlotte Stone Crabs 1

Samad Taylor hit his first home run of the year to cap off a 6-1 win for the class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays, beating the Charlotte Stone Crabs in their first meeting of the year.

While Taylor was 1/3 with the solo blast and a walk, Cullen Large was 2/4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring two runs. Riley Adams was 1/3 with a walk and two runs while Christian Williams was 1/3 with an RBI and a walk. Demi Orimoloye was 1/4 with a run and Norberto Obeso drove in a run, going 0/4. Ryan Noda was 1/5 with and RBI and both Chavez Young and Kevin Vicuna were 1/5.

Maximo Castillo started and tossed 5 2/3 innings, giving up just one run on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Jonathan Cheshire got the win, allowing only a hit in 2 1/3 innings, striking out two and Dany Jimenez walked one and gave up a hit in the ninth, striking out one.

Lansing Lugnuts 6, West Michigan Whitecaps 2

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts got their series against the West Michigan Whitecaps off to a great start by beating them 6-2 on Monday but they needed the 10th inning to score four runs and take the lead on the road.

With a runner on second to start the 10th, Jordan Groshans moved him over to third with a ground out and Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) took one of his three walks while Jake Brodt opened the scoring with a single. Lopez was thrown out at the plate to put runners on second and third with two outs before Mc Gregory Conteras was intentionally walked to load the bases. Nick Podkul drove in a run with a single and Dominic Abbadessa drove in two more with another single to give the Lugnuts a four-run cushion. Reggie Pruitt struck out to end the 10th inning but he continued to show some improved offensive skills, going 3/6 with a run and leading the way offensively. Alejandro Kirk and Otto Lopez each hit a double with Kirk adding a walk and a run and Lopez driving in a run and walking three times. Jake Brodt was 1/4 with a walk, an RBI and a run while Dominic Abbadessa was 1/4 with a walk, two RBI and a run. Nick Podkul was 1/4 with a walk and an RBI and Jordan Groshans was 1/4 with a walk and an RBI.

Josh Winckowski started the game, going six innings and giving up just two runs on six hits and two walks with five strikeouts. Will McAffer picked up the win, extending his scoreless inning count to 7 2/3 with three innings of two-hit, one-walk ball with four strikeouts. Jackson Rees struck out the side in the 10th to preserve the win.
