The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats couldn't complete their game on Sunday but the low-A Lansing Lugnuts played two and the Blue Jays' minor league affiliates had a 2-2 record for the day.
Buffalo Bisons 2, Pawtucket Red Sox 0
It was a pitchers' duel in Buffalo but righty Deck McGuire found his groove and shut down the Pawtucket Red Sox as the Bisons came out with a 2-0 win.
McGuire tossed five innings, needing 90 pitches (61 strikes) and striking out nine Red Sox while giving up just two hits and three walks. Luis Santos pitched three hitless innings, walking one and striking out three and Al Alburquerque earned the save, walking one and striking out one in the ninth.
Danny Jansen was 2-for-2 on the day, hitting his second home run of the year. Jason Leblebijian was 2-for-3 and Gift Ngoepe was 1-for-3 with a double.
