Blue Jays from Away
With five games on the schedule for the Toronto Blue Jays' minor leaguers, four ended up in victories, including a sweep of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats' doubleheader against the Harrisburg Senators.
Buffalo Bisons 4, Toledo Mud Hens 1
The Buffalo Bisons were in control for the entire game, getting outstanding work from the offense and starter Luis Santos in a 4-1 defeat of the Toledo Mud Hens. Santos went six innings, allowing only two hits and two walks with three strikeouts before Matt Dermody took over for two perfect innings. Chris Smith allowed the only run on one hit in the ninth.
Mike Ohlman led the offense, going 3/4 with a home run and two RBI while Jason Leblebijian drove in another run, going 2/4. Dwight Smith picked up the final RBI, going 1/4 with a double, as did Jarrod Saltalamacchia.

Roster Notes: Lucas Harrell was sent to the Dunedin Blue Jays for a rehab assignment.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 6, Harrisburg Senators 3
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats opened their doubleheader with the Harrisburg Senators by securing a 6-3 win. Conner Greene was on the mound to start and he had a strong outing, throwing 6 2/3 innings of the seven-inning game and giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Alonzo Gonzalez was called on to get the final out of the game, in the form of a strikeout.
Richard Urena opened his stellar day by going 3/4 with a double and an RBI. Derrick Loveless also had a pair of hits, including a single and a double, with one RBI. Tim Lopes was 1/3 with a double and two RBI while Gunnar Heidt was 1/3 with a double and one RBI.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5, Harrisburg Senators 4
In the second game of their doubleheader with the Harrisburg Senators, the Fisher Cats held off a late charge to win 5-4. In this one, Urena contributed two more hits and a walk, going 2/3 with a triple, three RBI and a run. Gunnar Heidt was 2/3 with a solo home run, a single and a stolen base and Harold Ramirez was 2/3 with an RBI. Jonathan Davis was on twice with a double and a walk and he stole a base and scored twice. Andrew Guillotte was also 1/3 with a double and a walk, scoring once.
Josh DeGraaf started for the Fisher Cats, going three innings and giving up two runs on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) followed with another three innings of scoreless ball, giving up a hit and a walk with two strikeouts. Dusty Isaacs made things interesting by loading the bases in the ninth, getting two outs but giving up a hit and two walks. Jose Fernandez allowed two of those runners to score on a hit but he managed to get the final out for the save.

Dunedin Blue Jays 2, Jupiter Hammerheads 10
The Dunedin Blue Jays took a 10-2 beating at the hands of the Jupiter Hammerheads despite a couple of players on rehab assignments performing well. Lucas Harrell, on rehab from the Buffalo Bisons got the start and gave up a run on four hits and two walks, striking out a pair in 2 1/3 innings. Conor Fisk came on and had a rough outing, allowing nine runs (two earned) on seven hits (including two home runs) in 5 2/3 innings, striking out three. Kender Villegas pitched a perfect ninth, striking out two.
Dalton Pompey (Mississauga, Ont.) continued his rehab, going 1/4 with a walk. Juan Kelly had a double and an RBI and Lane Thomas was 1/3 with a walk.
Player of the Game: None
Roster Notes: Pitcher Jon Wandling was released. Ryan Hissey was promoted from the Lansing Lugnuts and Mike Reeves (Peterborough, Ont.) was placed on the 7-day DL. Lucas Harrell was assigned to Dunedin for a rehab assignment.
Lansing Lugnuts 7, Lake County Captains 0
The Lansing Lugnuts got the bats going against the Lake County Captains, hitting three home runs in a 7-0 shutout victory. Midwest League batting leader Bo Bichette had a banner day, upping his batting average to .381 with a 3/4 game that included his sixth home run of the year and he scored twice. Bradley Jones hit his ninth home run, going 2/4 with three RBI and two runs. J.B. Woodman was also 2/4 and Edward Olivares hit his fifth home run of the year, going 1/4.
Mike Ellenbest had one of his best outings of the year, tossing seven innings and allowing four hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Daniel Lietz finished the game with two innings, giving up two hits.

Roster Notes: Ridge Smith returned to the Lansing Lugnuts from extended spring training and Ryan Hissey was promoted to Dunedin.
