The only winners on Saturday in the Blue Jays' system were the DSL Blue Jays who moved their record to 11-2 on the season. Buffalo lost both halves of a doubleheader and neither Dunedin nor Lansing played.

Buffalo Bisons 2, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 6

The Buffalo Bisons dropped the first half of their doubleheader, 6-2 to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Mike Bolsinger started and allowed three runs on seven hits and one walk in 4 1/3 innings before being relieved by Matt Dermody who allowed the inherited runner to score and an unearned run of his own in 2/3 of an inning. Wil Browning gave up two more runs in two innings.

The Bisons had just six hits including a single and RBI each from Ian Parmley (who had an outfield assist) and Shane Opitz who was 1/2 with a single and a sacrifice fly. Raffy Lopez was 1/2 with a double and a walk, as was Jake Elmore.

Buffalo Bisons 0, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 4

The Bisons dropped the back half of the doubleheader 4-0, despite five scoreless innings from Lucas Harrell. Harrell gave up just three hits and two walks in five innings with three strikeouts. Chad Girodo took the loss, allowing three runs over 1 2/3 innings and Leonel Campos finished the game, allowing an inherited runner to score while giving up a run of his own in 1/3 of an inning.

Jake Elmore was 2/3 and Jason Leblebijian was 2/3 with a double. Christian Lopes was 1/2 with a double and a walk.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 1, Bowie Baysox 7

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats took a loss 7-1 to the Bowie Baysox. Sean Reid-Foley allowed three runs on six hits and a walk, striking out four over 5 2/3 innings. Justin Shafer allowed three runs over 1 1/3 innings and Kender Villegas gave up one unearned run in an inning.

Ryan McBroom was 2/4 and so was Gunnar Heidt who stole a base but made two errors. Jake Thomas walked twice and Danny Jansen was 1/4.

Off for All-Star Break.

Lansing Lugnuts, West Michigan Whitecaps

Game cancelled due to rain.

Roster Notes: Osman Gutierrez was activated from his suspension and Mike Ellenbest was placed on the DL. Joshua Palacios was also activated off the DL.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Eugene Emeralds 4

The Vancouver Canadians started off well, getting out to an early lead over the Eugene Emeralds but the offense dried up after the first inning and the Canadians lost 4-2. Kyle Weatherly started and was a hard-luck loser. He allowed just four hits and one walk in five innings, but that amounted to three runs, only one of which was earned as he struck out five. Grayson Huffman went 1 2/3 innings letting his inherited runner score but no more runs and Brayden Bouchey went an inning, giving up a run on two hits and two walks. Miguel Burgos finished the game, getting the final out via the strikeout.

The Canadians had just three hits but only one of them came after the first inning in which Reggie Pruitt and Owen Spiwak doubled with Spiwak driving in two. Chavez Young had a single later in the game.

DSL Blue Jays 5, DSL Padres 4

The DSL Blue Jays won again, beating the DSL Padres by a 5-4 score. Hugo Cardona had a pair of hits including a double, an RBI and run. Steward Berroa hit a triple, drove in a run and scored once.

Rafael Monsion pitched an inning, giving up a run on two hits and one walk. Luis Alvarez got the win, giving up a run on three hits and two walks with two strikeouts over three innings. Geremy Jimenez allowed two runs on three walks with no hits in an inning. Gaudy Ramirez allowed two walks and a hit in two innings, striking out three while Luis Mendoza and Yunior Hinojosa each threw a scoreless inning to finish the game.
