Blue Jays from Away
The Blue Jays' remaining affiliates who were in action went a combined 0-4 on the final Saturday of the regular season.
Buffalo Bisons 4, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (NYY) 9
The Buffalo Bisons lost 9-4 to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Saturday.
Roemon Fields was 2/3 with a triple and two runs while Socrates Brito also hit a triple, going 1/4 with two RBI and a run. Richard Urena was 1/4 with an RBI, as was Jonathan Davis and Andy Burns was 1/4. Santiago Espinal was 1/3 with a run.
Clayton Richard got a rehab start in, allowing three runs on four hits (including a home run) with a walk, a hit batter and a strikeout in two innings, throwing 47 pitches. Thomas Pannone allowed another five runs on three hits (including a home run), three walks, a hit batter but he struck out five in three innings. Kirby Snead allowed a run on two hits and Bryan Baker allowed two walks in the seventh but struck out two and emerged unscathed. Travis Bergen gave up a hit in the eighth, striking out two.

Roster Notes: Clayton Richard was sent to Buffalo for a rehab assignment.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 0, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 2
Both teams were held to just three hits but the Portland Sea Dogs managed to scrounge together two runs to beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2-0.
Chad Spanberger had a hit and a walk, going 1/3 while Logan Warmoth was 1/4. Alberto Mineo was 1/3 and Joshua Palacios was 0/2 but walked twice.
Joey Murray had a strong start, allowing just two runs on three hits and three walks, striking out eight in seven innings. Jake Fishman struck out two in the eighth to finish the game.

Lansing Lugnuts 2, Fort Wayne TinCaps (SD) 9
The Lansing Lugnuts fell to the Fort Wayne TinCaps, losing 9-2 on Saturday.
A couple of lower-level prospects came up to Lansing, likely in advance of the Crosstown Showdown but they got into game action with Leonardo Jimenez playing shortstop and going 0/4 with two strikeouts. Miguel Hiraldo was at second base and was 1/4 with a rocket of a triple but committed two errors. Jesus Lopez was 4/4 with a double and an RBI and John Aiello was 2/4 with a double and two runs. Hunter Steinmetz was 0/3 but drove in a run.
Troy Miller made his final start of the year and it wasn't pretty as he was charged with seven runs (three earned) on two hits (including a home run) and four walks, striking out one in 1 2/3 innings. Randy Pondler allowed two more runs on four hits (including a home run), walking one and striking out four in 3 1/3 innings. Juan Nunez allowed a hit and a walk with four strikeouts in two innings and Josh Hiatt finished with a scoreless eighth, walking two and striking out two.

Roster Notes: The Lugnuts cleared some room on their roster for a couple of players coming up from Bluefield who will play in the Crosstown Showdown. Troy Watson and Marcus Reyes went on the 7-day IL while Leonardo Jimenez and Miguel Hiraldo were promoted from Bluefield.
Vancouver Canadians 3, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 5
The Vancouver Canadians lost again to the Tri-City Dust Devils as they scored seven unanswered runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth inning, falling 8-5.
Juan Diaz got the start for the Vancouver Canadians, throwing five innings and giving up three runs on six hits (including a home run) with just one walk and six strikeouts. Luke Gillingham provided two scoreless innings of relief, allowing a hit and two walks with four strikeouts and Kyle Huckaby made his Canadians debut, tossing the eighth inning and giving up two unearned runs on two hits and two walks with a strikeout.
Will Robertson had his third consecutive game with at least three hits and a home run, going deep for his third game in a row and going 3/5 with an RBI and a run. Luis De Los Santos also hit a home run, a solo shot in the second inning while Philip Clarke was 1/4 with a double. Spencer Horwitz was 1/5 and Cameron Eden was 1/4 with an RBI. Mc Gregory Contreras was 1/4 with a run and Dom Abbadessa was 1/3 with a walk.
