The Jays' minor leaguers improved their record from Sunday's action but not by much, going 2-4 on Monday, with wins in Bluefield and the GCL.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Clearwater Threshers 3
The Dunedin Blue Jays couldn't get enough offence going to defeat the Clearwater Threshers, losing 3-1. Bo Bichette made his Florida State League debut, going 0/4 with a walk and two strikeouts. Max Pentecost hit a double and Connor Panas (Toronto, Ont.) hit a triple.
Conor Fisk made an excellent start, allowing just two hits and one walk with nine strikeouts in seven innings. Adonys Cardona took the loss, giving up three runs in 1/3 of an inning in the eighth and Daniel Lietz allowed an inherited runner to score, walked one but didn't give up any runs of his own in 2/3 of an inning.

Roster Notes: Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero was assigned to Dunedin from Lansing while Jonelvy Molina was sent back to the GCL BLue Jays and Luis Silva was sent to the Lansing Lugnuts.
Lansing Lugnuts 4, Fort Wayne TinCaps 13
The Lansing Lugnuts lost their second consecutive game to the Fort Wayne TinCaps as Andy Ravel got hit hard in his start on the way to a 13-4 loss. Ravel gave up two home runs in his six innings, allowing six runs on eight hits despite just one walk and six strikeouts. The TinCaps piled on Andrew Deramo who allowed four runs in the seventh and Denis Diaz gave up another three runs in the eighth.
Yeltsin Gudino was the most emphatic Lugnut with the bat, going 3/3 with a walk, a double and two RBI. Ridge Smith drove in a run, going 1/4 and Luis De Los Santos was 0/2, hitting a sacrifice fly.

Roster Notes: Second baseman Luis Silva was assigned to the Lansing Lugnuts as Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. and Bo Bichette were both officially assigned to the Dunedin Blue Jays.
Vancouver Canadians 1, Boise Hawks 13
The Boise Hawks took advantage of three errors and blasted four home runs, pounding the Vancouver Canadians 13-1 on Monday. The Vancouver offense was unproductive, getting just five hits overall including a double and RBI from Riley Adams and a double from Cullen Large.
Dalton Rodriguez started, allowing eight runs (seven earned) over four innings, giving up two home runs and striking out four. Grayson Huffman struck out two in his scoreless inning and Justin Dillon also didn't give up a run in his frame, allowing a hit and striking out one. Brayden Bouckey threw the seventh, allowing a grand slam to let Boise add four more runs to their tally and William Ouellette gave up a solo blast in the eighth to make it a baker's dozen.

Bluefield Blue Jays 14, Princeton Rays 8
The Bluefield Blue Jays beat the Princeton Rays with 19 hits and 14 runs despite not hitting a ball out of the park. Yorman Rodriguez and Ryan Gold each had four hits with Rodriguez driving in one and scoring three times and Gold driving in two and scoring twice. No one had three hits but Kevin Smith (2/5, 2B, 2 R), Ryan Noda (2/4, BB, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 R), Antony Fuentes (2/4, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R) Jesus Severino (2/5, 2 RBI, R) and Jesus Navarro (2/5, 2 RBI) each had two hits.
Josh Winckowski struggled in his 2 1/3 innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on five hits (including a home run) and four walks, striking out one. Kelyn Jose earned the win, going 2 2/3 innings and giving up a run on three hits but didn't walk anyone and struck out four. Jose Nova tossed two scoreless innings and Joe DiBenedetto and Ty Tice each threw a scoreless inning to finish the game.

GCL Blue Jays 9, GCL Yankees West 5
The GCL Blue Jays got a first professional home run from the Jays' first draft pick of 2017 on the way to a 9-5 win over the GCL Yankees West that was only secured in the final two innings. Logan Warmoth was 2/5 with a home run in the ninth inning that helped seal the victory, driving in three runs. Joseph Reyes was 3/5 with a triple, an RBI and two runs while Dominic Abbadessa was 2/5 with a double, an RBI and a run. D.J. Neal was 1/3 with a triple and two runs and Aldo Ovando was 1/4 with a triple and three RBI.
Elieser Medrano was roughed up in the start, tossing 2 2/3 innings and giving up five runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts. The bullpen was outstanding in the final 6 1/3 innings, starting with Juan Meza who allowed his inherited runner to score but got out of the third inning with a strikeout. Matthew Gunter struck out five in three innings, giving up just one hit and Maverik Buffo got his first professional win, tossing two scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out two. Adams Cuevas struck out the side in the ninth.

Roster Notes: Otto Lopez was assigned back to the GCL Blue Jays from the Buffalo Bisons and Jonelvy Molina was assigned to the GCL Blue Jays after having been with Dunedin.
DSL Blue Jays 4, DSL Giants 5
The DSL Blue Jays lost a game in a rare occurrence, dropping their match 5-4 against the DSL Giants. The offence sputtered, scoring four runs and taking advantage of three Giants errors despite just three hits and three walks. Hector Guerrero was 1/3 with a walk, an RBI and a run.
Rafael Monsion allowed two runs in his start, giving up four hits and two walks in the 2 2/3 innings he pitched. Alexander Molina inherited the bases loaded and got out of the jam, giving up just one hit in 2 1/3 innings. Nicolas Medina gave up another two runs in his inning while Geremy Jimenez was tagged for a run in the seventh and Juan JImenez threw a clean ninth with one strikeout.
