With Dunedin and Lansing off on Monday, the triple-A Buffalo Bisons and double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats both won their games for a perfect, 2-0 record on Monday.
Buffalo Bisons 6, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 2
The Buffalo Bisons broke out with 11 hits and six runs while Chris Rowley had his best start of the year in a 6-2 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
Tim Lopes had three hits, going 3-for-4 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base and pushed his batting average to .438 in this young season. Jason Leblebijian was 2-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two runs. Dalton Pompey (Mississauga, Ont.) was 0-for-4 with a stolen base but came out of the game, being pinch-hit for by Roemon Fields in the eighth inning. Rowdy Tellez was 2-for-5 with a run and a stolen base and Danny Jansen drove in two runs, going 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base.
Chris Rowley allowed just one run in six innings of work, giving up five hits and striking out three on his way to his second win of the year. Murphy Smith gave up a run in 1 2/3 innings, allowing two walks and a hit batter while striking out three. Sam Moll earned the save, coming in with the bases loaded in the eighth, giving up a walk and allowing one of Murphy Smith's runs to score, striking out three batters.

Roster Notes: Gift Ngoepe was recalled to the Blue Jays to take Randal Grichuk's roster spot after he was placed on the DL. Matt Dermody was placed on the DL and Murphy Smith was activated.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7, Reading Fightin Phils 2
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats opened their series with the Reading Fightin Phils, beating them 7-2 to move their record to 14-7. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Montreal, Que.) continues to swing a hot bat, going 2-for-4 with a walk, a triple and two runs. Cavan Biggio also hit a triple, going 2-for-5 with an RBI. Harold Ramirez was 2/4 with a double, an RBI and a run. Bo Bichette (1-for-5, RBI) and Jonathan Davis (1-for-4, RBI, R) also hit doubles.
Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) earned his fourth win on the mound, tossing five innings and giving up two runs on three hits but he walked five and struck out seven, needing 97 pitches (50 strikes). Zach Jackson struck out a pair over two innings, giving up a hit and Conor Fisk allowed a hit and struck out one in the eighth. Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) hit the leadoff batter in the ninth and the next batter reached on an error but Case got a fly out and a double play to finish off the game.
