Blue Jays from Away
The Blue Jays' affiliates managed to get all four of their scheduled games in with just one win thanks to the Dunedin Blue Jays.
Buffalo Bisons 2, Gwinnett Stripers (ATL) 11
The triple-A Buffalo Bisons dropped to a 14-22 record, losing to the Gwinnett Stripers 11-2 on Thursday.
Shawn Morimando continues to struggle for the Bisons, allowing five runs on seven hits (including three home runs) in four innings with four strikeouts. Conor Fisk was also hit hard, allowing five runs on five hits (including a home run) with one walk and two strikeouts in two innings. Zach Jackson allowed a run in the seventh, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one. Justin Shafer (1 IP, 1 K) and Kirby Snead (1 IP) finished off the game for the Bisons.
The Herd had just four hits with Anthony Alford going 1/3 with a walk, an RBI and a run and Cavan Biggio going 1/4 with the club's only extra-base hit (a double) and an RBI. Alen Hanson and Patrick Cantwell each had a single.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 4
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats started their road trip with a 4-3 loss to the Hartford Yard Goats.
Kevin Smith may be breaking out of his season-long slump, going 3/5 with a double, a stolen base, an RBI and a run, bringing his average up to .175 thus far. Christian Williams, in his first week in double-A, went 3/4 to bring his average up to .385. Chad Spanberger was 2/5 with an RBI and Brock Lundquist was on base four times, going 2/4 with two walks and a run and threw a runner out at home. Forrest Wall was 1/4 with a walk and a double and Riley Adams was 1/4. Nash Knight was 1/3 with a sac fly and an RBI.
Starter Hector Perez had a solid outing, going six innings and giving up three runs on seven hits (including two home runs) with a walk and three strikeouts. Jonathan Cheshire took the loss, allowing an unearned run in the bottom of the eighth, giving up three hits and striking out two over two innings.

Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA) 0
The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays walked it off against the Jupiter Hammerheads, winning 1-0, after being locked in a pitcher's duel for eight and a half innings.
Starter Graham Spraker was outstanding for the Dunedin Blue Jays, tossing 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing six hits and three walks with three strikeouts. Connor Law stranded his inherited runner in the sixth and went on to pitch 2 1/3 innings, allowing a hit and two walks with three strikeouts. Dany Jimenez got the win with a scoreless ninth, striking out one.
The Blue Jays had six hits with Kacy Clemens delivering the win with a base hit to center field in the bottom of the ninth to score Ryan Noda for the winning run. Clemens was 1/4 with the RBI while Alejandro Kirk (who singled in the ninth) was 2/3 with a double and a walk. Ryan Noda was 1/3 with a walk and a run, adding a double while Cal Stevenson was 1/3 with a walk and Cullen Large was 1/4.

Lansing Lugnuts 0, Fort Wayne Tincaps (SD) 9
The low-A Lansing Lugnuts headed to Fort Wayne, Indiana and dropped their opener against the Fort Wayne Tincaps 9-0 in a rain-shortened affair that went just six innings.
Starting pitcher Sean Wymer was roughed up for all nine runs in 5 2/3 innings, allowing 13 hits with one strikeout in 5 2/3 innings. Joey Pulido allowed two inherited runs to score, allowing a hit and striking out one in 1/3 of an inning.
The Lugnuts had just one hit, courtesy of Rafael Lantigua and didn't take a walk in the loss.
