Blue Jays from Away
The Toronto Blue Jays' affiliates were 4-1 on Sunday.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Toledo Mud Hens 4
The triple-A Buffalo Bisons walked it off in the 10th inning when Dwight Smith Jr. brought Jonathan Davis home with an RBI double to beat the Toledo Mud Hens 5-4. Smith was 3/5 with two doubles and three RBI on the day while Davis was 1/4 with a walk, two RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Tim Lopes was 2/4 with a run and two stolen bases and Anthony Alford had the Bisons' only other hit, going 1/4.
Murphy Smith allowed a run on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts in five innings of work and Claudio Custodio gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits in 1 2/3 innings to relieve him. Jose Fernandez walked two but stranded his inherited runner and struck out one in 1 1/3 innings while Tim Mayza picked up the win, allowing a solo home run and a walk with four strikeouts in two innings.

Roster Notes: Danny Jansen was recalled by the Toronto Blue Jays and Claudio Custodio was promoted to Buffalo. Sean Reid-Foley was placed on the reserve list and Michael De La Cruz was activated off the DL.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Richmond Flying Squirrels
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Richmond Flying Squirrels had their game suspended due to rain with a 1-1 tie after nine innings.
Dunedin Blue Jays 11, Charlotte Stone Crabs 4
Joshua Palacios continued his hot streak, smashing the class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays to an 11-4 win over the Charlotte Stone Crabs. Palacios was 3/5 with a double, a single and a home run, adding a walk and driving in four runs and scoring three. Kevin Smith (1/5, HR, 3 RBI) and Chad Spanberger (1/4, BB, HR) each added a home run. Nash Knight was 3/5 with a double, an RBI and two runs and Logan Warmoth was 2/5 with a run. Ivan Castillo hit two doubles, driving in a run. Riley Adams also hit a double, going 1/4 with a walk and a run.
Patrick Murphy had a solid start but walked five batters in his five innings of work, striking out five and giving up two runs with two hits. Angel Perdomo gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings. Juliandry Higuera stranded his inherited runner, striking out one in 1 1/3 innings and Jackson McClelland needed just four pitches to retire the side in the ninth, getting a ground out and two fly outs.

Lansing Lugnuts 6, Bowling Green Hot Rods 4
The low-A Lansing Lugnuts scored two runs in the bottom of seventh on a two-run home run by Ryan Noda as they beat the Bowling Green Hot Rods 6-4. Noda continues to tear pitching apart, going 3/4 with the home run and four RBI while Andres Sotillo was 3/4 with a double and a run.
Kyle Weatherly allowed four runs in five innings, but only one run was earned as he allowed seven hits and four walks with two walks. Dany Jimenez picked up the win, going three innings, allowing just one hit and one walk with three strikeouts. Andrew Deramo got the save, allowing a hit and striking out one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 6, Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 4
The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians needed 10 innings to beat the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, getting two runs in the top of the inning for a 6-4 win. The Canadians had just four hits, getting singles from Yorman Rodriguez (2 RBI), Reilly Johnson (1/4, R), Nick Podkul (1/2, R, 2 BB) and a double from Sterling Guzman (1/5, 2B, R). Tanner Kirwer walked twice and scored, stealing a base while Otto Lopez was 0/1 with a walk and a run before coming out of the game.
Randy Pondler allowed three runs on eight hits (including a home run) with two strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Fitz Stadler got the win, tossing 2 1/3 innings, stranding an inherited runner and giving up a run of his own, allowing three hits with one strikeout. Marcus Reyes got the save, allowing a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in the 10th.

Bluefield Blue Jays 3, Kingsport Mets 8
The Bluefield Blue Jays took an 8-3 loss from the Kingsport Mets on Sunday. Cal Stevenson was held off the bases but Dominic Abbadessa and D.J. Neal both had two hits each, and each stole a base and scored a run. Gabriel Moreno drove in two runs, going 1/4 with a run while Luis De Los Santos was 1/4 with an RBI.
Troy Watson gave the club an inning, allowing a hit and a walk before Josh Almonte gave up three runs on a home run and two walks with one strikeout in 1 2/3 innings. Alvaro Galindo gave up a run on a walk with one strikeout in 1/3 of an inning and Jackson Rees gave up three runs (two earned) on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts in three innings and Cre Finfrock walked four and allowed two hits with a run and three strikeouts in two innings.
