Blue Jays from Away
Rain washed away two of the Toronto Blue Jays' four minor league games on the schedule and the two clubs in action both took a loss as the Jays had a late win in Oakland on Good Friday (and the first night of Passover).
Buffalo Bisons, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (NYY)
Postponed: Rain - To be made up June 3
Roster Notes: Gunnar Heidt was sent to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 4
The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats struck for three runs in the bottom of the eighth to take the lead but didn't have an answer as the Hartford Yard Goats added two runs in the top of the ninth to take a 4-3 win.
Andrew Sopko had a strong outing, going seven innings with just two runs on three hits and two walks and five strikeouts on the board. Jonathan Cheshire, recently promoted from class-A Advanced Dunedin allowed just a hit in a scoreless eighth but Ty Tice gave up two runs on a hit and a walk with one strikeout in the ninth, taking the loss and blowing the save.
Forrest Wall drove in two of the Fisher Cats' runs, going 1/4 with a run while Santiago Espinal had two hits including a double. Kevin Smith drove in a run, going 1/4 and Kacy Clemens hit a double, going 1/4. Ryan Hissey had the club's other hit, going 1/3 with a walk. Alberto Mineo's hitting streak ended as he went 0/3 with a walk.

Roster Notes: Joshua Palacios was placed on the 7-day injured list and Gunnar Heidt was sent to New Hampshire from Buffalo. Jonathan Cheshire was promoted to New Hampshire from Dunedin after Andrew Case retired.
Dunedin Blue Jays, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET)
Postponed: Rain - To be made up on May 19
Roster Notes: Jonathan Cheshire was promoted to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Connor Law took his roster spot, coming up from Lansing. Jonathan Davis was assigned to Dunedin to begin a rehab assignment.
Lansing Lugnuts 4, Dayton Dragons (CIN) 9
The low-A Lansing Lugnuts couldn't come up with the same magic they had on Thursday as they fell 9-4 to the Dayton Dragons.
Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) continued his command of Midwest League pitching, going 2/5 with an RBI but he was picked off and caught stealing and made two errors in the field. D.J. Neal was 2/4 with a run. Jordan Groshans was 1/4 with a double and a walk, driving in a run and scoring one while Alejandro Kirk was 0/2 but walked three times and scored twice. Reggie Pruitt was 1/5 with an RBI and both Nick Podkul and Dominic Abbadessa had a single with Podkul adding two walks and Abbadessa picking up an outfield assist.
Cobi Johnson started for the Lugnuts, going four innings and allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts. Joey Pulido followed with two scoreless innings, striking out a pair and giving up a hit while Fitz Stadler finished the game, allowing four runs (one earned) on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts in three innings.
