Junior National Team edges Houston Astros DSL 4-3

The Junior National Team improved their record to 4-1 at the Dominican Professional Academy Camp with a 4-3 win over the Houston Astros DSL squad.
The Canadians came all the way back from an early 3-0 deficit, scoring two runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and one more in the ninth to complete the comeback.

Josiah Romeo (Caledon, Ont.) was the starter for the Junior National Team, he went 4 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk, while striking out three batters.
Tim Piasentin (Coquitlam, BC) drove in the first run for the Juniors with an RBI single in the sixth after Thomas Hanger (Toronto, Ont.) led off with a screaming double.
The Canadians would manufacture the winning run in the ninth after couple of walks led to an Eric Hartman (St. Albert, Alta.) run-scoring fly ball.
Will Hynes (Mississauga, Ont.) cruised through the back end of the game, permitting only a pair of hits and a walk while punching out four over his four scoreless frames.
