The Canadian Premier scored a 9-7 win over the Brewers Langley Blaze in an exhibition game prior to the kickoff of the annual Perfect Game World Wood Bat championship in Jupiter, Fla.

The pre-tourney game used to be for national bragging rights between the Ontario Blue Jays and the Langley Blaze.

Great Lake Canadians Matt Evans (Tillsonburg, Ont.)

Matt Evans (Tillsonburg, Ont.) of the Great Lake Canadians hit a three-run home run and bunted for a base hit.

RHP Makaio Cisneros (Whitby, Ont.), LHP Lachlan Harrison (Mississauga, Ont.), RHP Liam Cruickshank (Mississauga, Ont.) of the Ontario Blue Jays, plus RHP Mac Robertson (Oshawa, Ont.) of the Toronto Mets, LHP Keegan O’Hearn (Oshawa, Ont.) of the Ontario Terriers and RHP Seth Ainsworth (Sarnia, Ont.) of the Great Lake Canadians were the scheduled arms to be used.

LHPs Elliot Cadieux-Lanoue (Saint-Pie, Que.) of ABC and Reece Usselman 2023 (Langley, BC) of the Blaze were two of the three Langley pitchers.

Team Steel National, which features Etobicoke Rangers grad David Alvarez (Woodbridge, Ont.) and Lucas Roberts (Toronto, Ont.) scored a 6-4 win over NEB National.
